I guess I do care how I look after all

Through out my life, I've asserted that I only care about how I live and not how I look. I've taught my children that duty, responsibilities, and good deeds must come first etc. My wife often have to buy clothes for me to fit how she wants me to look. If she doesn't it'll be blue jeans and polo all year round.

Yet....

Yesterday I looked at the mirror and felt some what excited that the six pack that I haven't seen for quite a few years is slowly surfacing. It's not all there yet but the outline is there.

Perhaps I do care after all.
