Guiltless Dessert
To cut straight to the point, I am too stubborn to all together give up my desserts for a diet.
I'm looking to loose about 10 lbs. in 2 months, and I would rather not have those 2 months be dessert-less.
So, if anyone knows any desserts ranging anywhere from 100-200 calories, that would be great!
another is a frozen banana with dark chocolate!!
breyer's mint chocolate chip ice cream is only 150 calories, if you stick to the 1/2 cup serving size :)
I just started last month ordering sugar free dougnuts, muffins and cheesecakes from Chatilas Bakery.
http://www.chatilasbakery.com/ordernow.html
The muffins and doughtnuts are 80-100 calories per cake (and big portions) and the cheesecakes are 70 calories for the whole cake! They are mainly protein, the website has the nutritionals for all products listed too.
It is a bit on the pricey side (My average order is between 25-30$) but its worth it to me to be able to enjoy a muffin or cake EVERYDAY! They arent super sweet, but really help satisfy cake cravings and feel so decadent to eat!
Breyers new 'fat-free' icecreams only have 100 calories for half a cup and the caramel one tastes delicious! I haven't tried the other flavours yet... Edys makes delicious chocolate-coated reduced-fat icecream bars with 160 calories eat - they taste a ton better than the 'diet' ones. Also, check out the zillion and one '100 calorie packs of cookies and chocolate' they have now.
If you make your own dessert and are able to control your portion size, homemade cakes etc usually have about 150 cals a piece if you don't ice them (a lot of the sugar is in the icing/filling...) I made some brownies and cut them into little pieces which ended up with less than 100 calories for two!
70 calories for an ENTIRE cake?
Exactly how large are these cakes? Lol.
Thank you everyone,
These all seem absolutely delicious and guiltless, I can't wait to try them!
Weight watchers makes yummy ice cream sandwiches and drumsticks for 140 cals. Slim-a-bear ice cream sandwiches are 100 cals, theres lots of skinny cow bars and popsicles.
I like having a few nilla wafers with fat-free, sugar free pudding and a small dollop of cool whip free or fat free redi-whip! Its delish!
Check out hungry-girl.com for lots of other low cal recipes also! They have some amazing shakes and desserts on there.
Fiber One Oats and Chocolate Chewy Bars...sooo amazingly good and they have 35% DV Fiber!
sugar free jello and loooots of fat free reddi whip....jello is 10 cals and the reddi whip is 5 cals per 2tbs...so yes..you can have quite a bit!

* Turkey Hill Ice Cream - Sugar Free - Calories Range from 70 to 120 per 1/2 c.!
* Turkey Hill Ice Cream - Light - Calories Range from 100 to 130 per 1/2 c!
* Turkey Hill Also has low calorie frozen yogurt - I would check EM OUT!
* 4 Hershey Kisses = 100 calories
* A Baked Apple with Cinnamon = 80 calories
* A root beer float made with diet root beer & (1/2 c) non-fat vanilla ice cream = 90 to 120 calories
* 1/2 a can of Pumpkin sprinkled with Cinnamon = 40 calories
* 2 ounces of Angel Food Cake = 120 calories
---- I think you can work with that right?! ----
sugar-free jello w/ reddi-whip. 13 cals total!
Breyers "Fat Free" French Chocolate ice cream only has 80 calories per 1/2 cup (and 4 grams of fiber!)...put that in a wafer cone (only 15 calories) and put some sprinkles on it...you'll feel like I kid again!
All the above are really good ideas but I recently tried cutting a small banana in half, and sprayed it a little bit with that butter spray stuff. Sprinkle a little bit of brown sugar over it - not much - and then grill it (or put in in a pan or griddle), flipping once. It doesn't take long for it to carmelize - put on a plate and put a few dollops off FF cool whip - it's wonderful!
If you like low-fat cottage cheese, mix 1/2 cup of it with fresh sliced/mashed strawberries sweetened with splenda... it almost tastes like a strawberry sundae and has plenty of nutrient and less than 180 calories.
Fat free frozen yogurt. It doesn't taste like ice cream, but it does taste like desert.
ALL of these honestly sound amazing!
I've tried all the ones with bananas so far, they are delicious.
I'm taking a diet dessert trip to the store tommorow, so I'll let you know how the rest turn out :)
Thanks so much!!
