How guilty should I feel about this pleasure?

So I came up with this pancake/waffle recipe that tastes absolutely delicous.

I am really tempted to make it again but I am afraid my tastebuds are blinding me from something in it that I should minimize.

Here it is:

1 cup quick oatmeal 1/2 cup egg whites 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese 6 packets equal

I assume this is for one serving?  The recipe analyzer comes up with:

Serving Size 435 g   Amount Per Serving Calories  470 Calories from Fat  70 % Daily Value* Total Fat  7.7g 12% Saturated Fat  2.3g 11% Cholesterol  9mg 3% Sodium  669mg 28% Total Carbohydrates  60.4g 20% Dietary Fiber  8.3g 33% Sugars  2.0g Protein  39.5g   Vitamin A 2% • Vitamin C 0% Calcium 13% • Iron 21% Nutrition Grade B+

However, if it fits in your calorie count for the day, why not?  Don't feel guilty about it, just cut back a little somewhere else during the day.

Yes, thats one serving. I'm trying to clean bulk right now and I'm not sure if I should be eating all thos carbs at one time in the afternoon.

I don't see any problem with it.  You're already getting some protein and fat in the cottage cheese, but maybe add something else to your meal that has more of both to help it "stick with you" longer.  Half ounce of almonds.  Peanutbutter.  Something.

Why would he need to cut back somewhere else during the day?  470 calories is perfectly reasonable for a meal, and the rest of the numbers are fine.

Good job!
Not at all guilty, don't be ridiculous silly!  It only has 2g of sugar, which is very low.  I personally do not care for equal and would probably skip the artificial sweetner (especially since your goal is clean eating) and just top with some fresh berries instead or use stivia.  And in reference to sharz96, I think you are fine with the level of protein, it is 33.6% protein as is.
