Guilty Pleasures?
You know, those things you like (okay...love) and wish you didn't? Here are some of mine:
Gossip Girl- I'm not much of a tv person (although the show is addictive), but I adore the books. My 15 year old sister reads them, and every time she finishes one, I sneak it into my room and don't come out again till the book is finished.
The Jonas Brothers- One fateful summer night I was at my friend's house with nothing to do. Camp Rock was on, we decided to watch it. Big mistake. Ever since, the JoBros have held a special place in my heart and on my ipod.
Frozen Food- Any food tastes infinitely better frozen. Frozen grapes are a staple. Frozen french fries are heavenly (although pretty unhealthy compared to the grapes..) Frozen Vitamuffins? My favourite way of eating them.
Baking Supplies- Back in the day, when I was 12 and had the fastest metabolism known to man, I would munch on things like cinnamon sugar, a bar of bakers chocolate (semisweet or unsweetened), cocoa powder mixed with some suger, brown sugar on bread, muffin mix, icing sugar...the list goes on. It wasn't a binge, just a typical afternoon snack...and then I wondered why I gained weight a few years down the road haha.
That's my list...let's hear yours!
Korean pop music. In general I'm an indie music snob but there's something addictive about Korean music. Or maybe it's because I'm constantly surrounded by it. The same goes for Korean variety shows... hilarious.
My only other guilty pleasure is "school supplies". I'm obsessed with buying pens and the like.
"Roadhouse" - one of the best bad movies ever
Williams Sonoma catalogs (ooooooh....$100 frittata pan....)
The Webkinz website - I can't bear to let my son's critters go hungry, the games are downright addictive, and I reallllllly want to get enough gems for the Crown of Wonder.
ICarly - for some reason, I really like this show
All the cartoons I used to watch about 10 years ago: Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, Pinky and the Brain, As Told By Ginger, Daria, Pepper Anne etc.
The colour pink.
Dancing around nekkid in my room.
Gossip magazines and websites.
And so many more that I can't think of right now, but those are the main culprits....
Weight loss shows with a kick-ass in-your-face trainer/nutritionist (ie: The Last Ten Pounds Bootcamp, You Are What You Eat, Bulging Brides, The Biggest Loser, X-Weighted)
Kelly Ripa... I'm told I look like her haha
"Emo" music.. not hardcore slit-your-wrists stuff, just music that you listen to whe you're feeling down and just want to go for a drive and think. My boyfriend likes to make fun of me for that!
Facebook.. soo many hours wasted here!
US weekly
Calorie Count!! I could spend all day on this website.. it's sad.
REALITY TV!!!
In no particular order;
- America's Next Top Model
- white chocolate (when the rest of the world wants cocoa)
- candles (such a cliche girl thing)
- dance clubs
- make-up, nail polish, hair product, bath salts (I'm overloaded!)
- throw pillows (up there with candles)
- books about supernatural/mythical characters (like werewolves)
- and, um, that includes the Twilight series (not bad, except that I'm 34)
oh yeah and MAKEUP!! how could I forget that one?
although I perfer myself wearing next to nothing, I have a good 8 bags (those big ziploc ones) of makeup stashed in my bathroom collected over the years... most has been used once!

I stumbled upon jpopasia.com like a week ago and now I'm jamming to some Korean music every workout session :) Big Bang is awesome!
I have too many guilty pleasures, including Big Macs, blasting music and dancing if the house is empty, and really bad TV. I'm talking like Maury's show ("I'm 1 MILLION % sure he is the father"), Tyra, and various court room shows.
My guilty pleasures are:
1. ebay
2. exercise informercials on tv--there is just something about them that sucks me in & I feel compelled to buy the product, but so far I have resisted making the call. My two latest favs are the Air Climber and the Cardio Twister. I want them!
1. Grocery shopping for deals
2. Sweeping hard wood floors (especially hallways)
3. CC- no one knows I'm here... all. the. time.

I love Big Bang. They're too good looking. haha I recommend Epik High if you're into hip hop at all. I'm not really into the girl groups or singers here. I find them to be annoying.
Occasionally listening to stuff like Eminem or Daddy Yankee. My friends are all "You're listening to whut now? Stop that and put on your Vivian Girls/Matt & Kim/whatever CD's at once!"
1. Chick flicks, including, but not limited to Steel Magnolias, The Notebook, Moulin Rouge, Stepmom, Clueless, Mean Girls, Ghost, and yes, even Dirty Dancing. Somebody shoot me please.
2. Facebook and, of course, CC
3. Peanut Butter
4. My BlackBerry (I regret the day that my boss gave me one)
5. Spoiling my kids with a small treat (toy) after work every Friday. I know it's bad and I spoil them, and it makes me feel so guilty, but I get so much happiness when I see their faces light up with joy.
