i chew gum like candy lolz i just stick one piece after the other. its horrible i go through 5 packs a day lolz. yes count those calories, they all count.
Gum is actually one of "addictions." *laughs. I chew quite a few peices throughout the day. Especially after a meal to quell my still wandering eye at the food. ;) :P
i wasnt counting those calories:(((((maybe thats why ive gained 2 kilos?? gosh...ok from this day i wont chew those gums:(( it will be hard for me!
and i remember that someone here told me that i burn those calories by chewing, so i shouldnt count them! is that right??
2 pieces of dentyne ice is 5 calories...if u added it all up, it cant be that much, a whole pack is only 30 calories
how much gum are you eating girl!?
how much gum are you eating girl!?
Sugar free is probably handy but Ive heard the sugar in regular gum can stimulate a digestive that can make people feel hungry.
I love wrigleys sugar free xtra chewing gum-----can chewing like 20 a day be that much calories?
I have personally never counted gum, and I chew it ALL day long!! I am quite strict though with counting everything else. I have also heard that you burn what you chew for gum, it seems to make sense to me. Anyone know about that?
Dietdemons: That's my brand too. :-) Each stick is 5 calories (recently reduced from 8 cals, per wrapper info). So... 100 cals a day... if you're chewing 20 sticks.
im chewing lots of gums...50 or more per day! im gonna be Chewing Gum at last...lol=)) but since yesterday i restricted it to myself!
i read somewhere else that the xtra chewies were 10 cals per stick
I think if you are chewing 50 mor more calories worth of gum then count it but if you are just a casual users I wouldn't bother cuz it probably does burn more cals to chew it than it counts. I do the orbit and eclipse sugar free gum and usually just when I am in the car - used to reach for a cigarette now I have to reach for gum. I also chew it while I work ou to keep my mouth from going dry. I have terrible dry mouth when I am working out and drinking water just doesn't work plus I would have to be hooked up to a water bottle for the whole workout and that isn't going to happen LOL/
