What is a gunna?

what? haha "its gunna"="its going too"

I'm not wholly familiar with an exchange MP system. Perhaps add a couple of extra grains, an oz extra protein, an extra dairy and an extra fat? o__o; But that might not be enough because again, not sure how exchanges work entirely. I sux. D: Sorry.

haha thanks for the reply!

yah the meal plan is just so i stray away from counting calories, which has been difficult but is getting better. yah i think im just going to add an extra thing to each meal plan component.

I'm on a exchange MP system. You're getting plenty of protein - 6 oz/day is all you really need - add in more fats, for sure. Grains and milk too. I really like fruit so I end up eating a lot of it... but about half my servings of fruit per day are of dried fruit b/c it's smaller. If you do want to add more protein, go for it. It really doesn't matter what you eat more of so long as you're eating more. For protein, I recommend string cheeses w/every snack, and boiled eggs too (with yolks!). Chicken and red meats (i.e. adding more than 3 oz of protein at meals) seem to take up a lot of room in my stomach. Eggs and cheese go down easy!

i would make the dairy all full-fat, if you haven't already (whole milk, full-fat yogurt/cheese).  I would also add a smoothie or milkshake every day.  For a smoothie, do something like...1 cup whole milk, 6-8 oz yogurt (preferably full-fat), a banana or frozen fruit, and 2 TB peanut butter.  It's very balanced, nutritious, and high in calories and fats.

For a milkshake, do something like...1 cup whole milk, .5-1 cup ice cream (pick a higher calorie brand, if possible), then extras like frozen fruit, flavored syrup, or peanut butter.

Both drinks won't fill you up as a large amount of food, but they definately will help you gain weight!  And, they taste delicious =]

those are great ideas! it just sucks right now because I only have about a week left of school and I am out of yogurt and such.  I am also not allowed to have blenders, but I am game for that milkshake you suggested with the PB as soon as i get home!!!! For now the only milkshakes I have access to are from McDonalds and though they arent the healthiest, they are delicious and I need extra calories!

On a 2500 exchange mp I would say you would need more like 7  fats and 8 oz protein with the rest of what you stated.  Wendy's makes a good shakes too and it is DQ season. Can you have 3 meals and 3 snacks? I am not a big bar person but those are easy to have and not filling. Trader Joes if you have one near has them for cheaper.
