Everytime I'm on my period I find myself saying "oh this weight stop/gain is probably from my period" and I was always thinking it's just an excuse to make myself feel better but it happens everytime, is it possible?  Probably more likely I subconsciously cease to diet for the week.

I never lose weight when I am on my period...infact I gain about 3lbs....And when I am done I then lose the extra plus usually a little more....So I don't think it's necessarily that you stop your diet I think it's just your body......If that's your cycle don't get frutrated start expecting that to happen....

Its possible to retain water during AF.  Thus making you think that your weight loss has stopped or you have gained weight.

I have been watchign my cycles and i haven noticed some interesting things.  First,  since exercising my Basal Body Temp has has gone up for the entire cycle.

Second, I break out around Ovulation.

Three, my weight loss stalls around AF but drops off the last day of AF.

Almost every woman bloats (i.e. - retains water) during the week of PMS and shortly into her period. You can even go up a pants size that week. It comes off the week after. I wouldn't worry yourself.
