What SHOULD I do at the gym?
I joined the gym a couple of weeks ago and use the following machines
- treadmill
- cross trainer
- bike
I am very happy doing cardio and am really not interested or care about weights for the time being. So i am wondering, is it best to use all three every day? If so, should i spend equal time on each? What is the most effective?
At the moment, i usually do 30min on the bike, then 20-30min HIIT on the treadmill and 10min on the cross trainer (sometimes).
Hmm. What are your goals? It's always easier to rough out a plan if you have an idea of where you want to go, neh?
One thing to consider though - are you more concerned with the best use of the tools you want to use, or the best way to reach your goals? It's easier to give you real results if you don't limit your options until after you've set out your goals.
Well, my goal is to become fit. I don't want to be super, super fit though, just comfortably fit. I would also like to tone my legs. I feel i become "fitter" on the tredmill and cross trainer, my legs works harder on the bike. But i'm not sure how to divide my time/days.
