Hi,

Can someone please explain why so much of my hair is falling out? I don't get it because isn't it meant to be growing, since I'm eating so much more food than I used to? I thought the nutrients lost when I was starving myself would be replaced by all this food! My hair never used to fall out, but only since recovery its been dropping out.

Just then I brushed my hair and the brush came out looking like it had a wig lol

Thanks for any information.

The condition of your hair reflects your health a month or two ago.   So if you've just started to eat better then you'll need to give it time to work through and nourish the new growth.   Don't worry, keep eating properly and by Christmas you should have luxurious locks again

could be your product too... I love pantene, but it makes my hair fall out like crazy!!!

I have plenty to lose so I still use pantene in my rotation

I was losing quite a bit of hair about 3 months after I started CC (I'm trying to lose weight) and in researching my problem, it turns out, any shock to the system can cause hair loss but it's usually not noticed until about 3 months after the fact.  That's why I noticed my hair loss in June when I started CC in March.  I was eating very healthy foods and had about 1500+ cal/day but still was losing hair.  I lost lots of hair for a few months but it's kind of slowed down now and new hair is growing in.  Stick with the program and try not to be discourages by the hair loss - I know it's hard when it comes out in clumps - eeks! - but it will get better!

Hey its going to take time.  Your hair loss honestly might not get better until you reach a healthy weight and healthy body fat % (at least in my case it didn't).  You'll have to keep up eating a nutritionally balanced intake esp enough calories.  Its really hard.  I know exactly how you feel, because basically any time you slip back, its easy for the hair to just come out in clumps again.  Hope it gets better for you.  You can definitely send me a msg if you want more info about what happened with my hair loss, some extra support to pull you through, or someone to vent to who also understands.  Feel free, because I know how much it sucks.  Just stick with it.

Thanks everyone, for the reassurance. I hope my hair doesn't keep falling out because it was never really that thick in the first place.

Hopefully Jane is right, that I'll get luscious locks by Christmas xD
