Your hair reflects the state of your body three months prior. Your loss will stop and it will grow back - my own growing back is proof! - but you have to wait it out.
thats reassuring, thanks
i have hair loss from being malnutrioned as well. im trying to get better have been for 3 monthes or more. I know i jsut have to sit tight but did you ever experience an irritated scalp possibly from all the hair falling out bc i never had this problem before?
yeah, sometimes.
while i never had an ED, at college this year my nutrition has gotten to be very bad- i dont get protein, ahrdly anythifg but carbs. So, my hair is thinning and falling out like crazy. I am strating to take Women's one a day. I suggest that. it will help with the vitamins that you could be missing in your diet too. And it has calcium for bone strength...all essential for malnurished individuals.
up your protein intake by a lot. keep at it for about a month, and then tell me how it goes :)

I wasn't eating very well at the time being a freshman in college but it still will not thicken up even when I have a period when I'm eating healthy. Just a warning, if the women in your family have thin hair, this could just be the start for you. Sorry.
are there any vitamins you can take to make it start to regrow faster does anyone know of any that work well
No, not that I've heard of. Honestly, just eat a balanced diet and regain up to the healthy recommended weight level (20 BMI if you've restricted to fall underweight) and your hair will start growing back in.
Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
