Halloween Costume Parties

Hey everyone, I am going to my first costume party this Halloween!  I haven't dressed up for Halloween since I was a little kid (TRICK OR TREAT!!!) so I am so excited!

I have this costume idea for a white fairy:  White wings, white eye makeup, lots of glitter, sexy white skirt & top, elf ear attachments, and silvery-white streaks in my hair.  What do you think?  Should I add anything else? Is it a good idea?  I might take an old pair of heels and spray paint white or silver glittery paint on them.

Are you dressing up for Halloween?  What are you going to be??

I have a party to go to the Saturday before and then a bar on the actual night and I don't know what I'm wearing for either!

I've only dresseup once for halloween, and that was a few years ago. My parents never let me cekebrte halloween when I was a kid because they were really religous, but when I grew up, I kinda rebelled and went to a night club dressed as a "sexy vampire" I looked really great, I even had white contacts and looked really freaky! Oh, and this year I want to dress up, but I don't know what I wanna be.

I have a party next Friday. The theme is fairy-tale characters. I haven't decided what I want to do though....

some how this year I got on the 'popular' list and I'm invited to two halloween parties on Saturday the 28th.   Of course they incourage you to dress up.  I haven't been to a halloween party since grade school!

OK, here's one kinda simple and silly halloween idea for anyone still looking for ideas... Get an old laundry basket and cut out the bottom.  Get some twine or whatever to hold the basket on your shoulders like a pair of suspenders and the bottom of the basket around your waist.  fill the rest of the basket with socks, tshirts and whatever.  Pin a few smaller clothing items to your shirt, on your head etc.  Wear black pants and shoes so your legs are less obvious and waa-laa you're a basket of dirty laundry!  LOL!!

My husband and I are doing a couple's costume and going as Neo and Trinity from the Matrix.   He's happy he doesn't have to wear make-up and it gives me an excuse to buy some skinny faux leather pants.  LOL!

My boyfriend and I are going to go as Goth Kids.   I'm perfecting my petulant glare as we speak.  It's pretty intimidating.  

at this point, I'm going out as a mommy taking her kids trick or treating. :P

all my costumes on hand are too big for me now, so I have no idea if I'll dress up or not. the kids love it when I do, so I'll likely make the effort for them. :)

I've got a party the 28th and some parties Halloween night and I have no idea what to dress up as. If I can't think of anything, I'm probably not going to go.

Last year I was a bag of Jelly Belly jelly beans! Won best costume!! =)

My husband and u are having a halloween party at the end of the month... He is going to be the Tooth Fairy!!! LMAO... he is such a clown and I am going to be a Sorceress..

My friends and I are being the Spice Girls for halloween. We're all 17-18 by the way, so we pretty much grew up in that era. I'm Ginger Spice and I'm going to be decked out in the Union Jack dress and white go-go boots. ;)

Sounds like a great idea for a costume! We just had our party on the 7th and had a blast! I love halloween!! I have a concert on the 29th and am debating on dressing for it. I just bought a cute red top off ebay and maybe I'll just do some red horns and be a devil of sorts for that! So we went to the store yesterday and iParty had the PERFECT white angel fairy costume and I got it!  Complete with an outfit, wings, halo, and a star wand!!  I probably won't use the halo.  I also got glitter and white fishnet stalkings and white eyelash attachments and silver and white hair spray!  I am so excited!!!!

I am going as Spong Bob Square Pants! I bought a kids outfit made out of foam.  Luckly I have a same frame and kids are getting bigger ;)

Paul where did you find your costume?  I need to find a Sponge Bob Square Pants outfit for a friends stag party (don't ask) and he's a small frame too.

Zellers! for kids 7-9 years of age hehe.  I can't fit the shorts though...hehe

I'm having some trouble finding a costume, as well.  I just want to pass out candy to the neighborhood kids, and I'd like to dress up, but so many of the women's costumes are way too scandalous unless you're heading to a party.
