Oh man. I have just been PIGGING OUT on candy today! And later on, I'm going out with my housemates, which means alcohol. Sooo many calories!
Oh well. The 100 Grand candies are gone, which are my biggest weakness. The candies we have leftover from the bowl we got for trick or treaters now has Nerds, Almond Joy, and Milk Duds, and I can resist those pretty easily. So it's just one night.
Plus, I've been getting a pretty consistant 1500-1600 this week, so I'll just think of this as a shock to my metabolism! And I already have my plan set up for tomorrow--1500 calories. :-)
But MAN have I been putting away the candy today! Nyum nyum nyum.
i feel yor pain.
tomorrow the treadmill.
I'm impressed that you logged it! I have a food diary that I keep, and for today, I just have written: HALLOWEEN--**FREE DAY**. So I have no idea. And I'm fine with having no idea. XD And then I have Saturday and Sunday planned out, with 1500 and 1460 calories respectively.
yup, i try to count everything, i figure even if its not accurate at least i tried (its gotta count for something, no?)
and the candy, ahh the candy, it was worth it! but just this once.
happy halloween!
esp the hershey bar.mmmmmmmmmmmm
hehe just relax and have fun. Stressing over it or feeling guilty over it will not only make you not enjoy something that you're going to have any way, but it might trigger a binge or mindless overeating. So yes, today is a FREE DAY and just enjoy the treats. It's not like it's an everyday thing anyways. =)
my tally is 400 calories so far. i'm trying to cut myself off, but it's hard ;)
im logging mine somewhat, but Im giving up now, free day for sure!
now to conquer vacation next week as well!
Best. Disaster. Of. The. Freakin'. Year. +0+
I've had so much candy that.. well.. I don't even want to know how much calories were in what I consumed.
I went trick or treating, and 3/4 of the candy from the two neighborhoods I went to = gone.
I can feel my teeth rotting, but it was so worth it.
I can honestly say that I don't want to touch any candy for the rest of the year, though. :D
My tally for the evening was 700....I planned for it and fit it in my day and enjoyed every piece. No regrets!
I definitely overdid it too :) and the scale is showing me no love for it now! lol... expected, but I just chalked it up as a super-cheat day and now I'm movin on... like you, I've been sticking to my cals just fine this week and am sticking to them today, tomorrow and the next day...
keep up the great work!!
lol my mom has just a cady bowl for us and I kept taking from it while I waited for trick or treaters and then me and my bf went to the melting pot for dinner(if you have one near you go!) so I went crazy on cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. lol not even gonna post any of it lol.
I had chocolate and cheesecake for breakfast and started freaking out afterwards. But I just now went through the trashcan and counted candy wrappers, and I estimate about 1300 cals haha. Not as bad as I thought. Not the end of the world. I have the rest of the day to burn it off, and it was definitely worth it.
Happy Halloween, fellow dieters.
somehow I managed to resist candy pretty easily yesterday! surprisingly, lol. I only ate a tiny bag of peanut butter M&M's while I was walking around (even though we went to get pizza after that). this morning, on the other hand, I ate 2 mini snickers, a mini twix, and a reese's cup that I put in the freezer last night (:
luckily I didn't go trick or treating to too many houses this year, haha.
and the scale has managed to stay consistent ![]()
We had one of those mixed bags that had mini Snickers, M&M mini's, starbursts, and skittles. In a week and a half I ate every Snickers bar, and probably half of the mini's. lol, actually on the day itself I didn't do too badly. I had 3 hershey Hugs (different bag) and a tiny bag of candy corn.
Now if I can only get rid of the leftovers...I'll be on track again.
Yup, leftovers are the only problem! We had almost no trick-or-treaters. :-( Luckily I live in a house with four other girls so that candy is not long-living! And we're giving away the Nerds because none of us really like them. The chocolate will be gone by, oh...Tuesday at the latest.
Thank goodness I don't go trick-or-treating anymore! I used to come home with a huuuuuuuge bag full! Which is part of how I justified yesterday to myself--it was one day, when I used to eat candy that way every day from Halloween until Thanksgiving at least!
Is it a bad thing that I did the math to figure out that I can eat 400 grams of peanut m&m's and still be on target for calorie intake?
don't worry you're not the only one.
1 regular size plain m&m, 1 reg size peanuts m&m, 6 fun size snickers, 1/2 reg size snicker, 2 fun size crunch bar, 6 dark chocolate ferrero rocher....there's some more, but i'll stop
What type of food should not be eaten?
Calorie Count does not prescribe a particular diet or tell people to avoid particular foods. We only ask that you eat a balanced diet... Read more
