What would happen if...

...for whatever reason (busy day, etc.) you were to have a ridiculously low number of calories, for the sake of an example say 100 or 200 or 300, and next comes dinner. Would you have the 1500 calories for dinner? That doesn't seem healthy. But not having them is not healthy either.

So what happens?

For one day....nothing.  Try to spread your calories throughout the day, but if you find you need more at the end of the day, try eating calorie dense foods so you don't have to eat a huge volume of food.  The problem with excessive restrictions is the next day you tend to be extremely hungry and eat a lot more.

One busy day or one day being under on calories, will not send you into starvation mode.  I wouldn't try cramming 1500 calories in before bed.  Just eat as you normally would and if you're under for a day you're under.  You may be hungrier than normal the next morning, so you could always have a little more for breakfast.

ive always been curious if a day would hurt you or not, that's good to know! beacuse i sometimes freak if i worked all day and didnt get the chance to get anything to eat and am left with like 1200 cals for dinner...usually i end up trying to eat all at night because i didnt know what to do!

I only wish I could eat a 1500 calorie dinner!!  Hehe I have done it before and would love to have the excuse to do it again.  Not thats its a good idea or anything I just really love eating!
