So happy to be overweight right now...

Quote  |  Reply

I did it!  I struggled and cried, and whined, and worked hard, and had bad days, and horrible days, and great days...and I did it!

I am OVERWEIGHT and happy as a bumblebee in a field of clover.

For the first time since 1996, I am not OBESE.

I still have work to do to get to a healthy weight, but this was my first super-duper big goal and I DID IT.  That being said, I was able to do it because of the remarkable people on CC who have supported me along the way, either through direct posts from me, or though simply having CC be a distraction to me when I needed it.

I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY.

My next goal is 163 - now I am 168.  This will mean a total weight loss of 50 pounds!

REALLY, REALLY WELL DONE!  All your hard work etc. has been worth it!  You should be so pleased and proud of yourself for accomplishing your goal...

you keep me inspired and motivated to achieve the same thing- I've been Calorie Counting a month now- I've lost 5.5 lbs so far and need to lose another 16.5 lbs to move from being 'obese' to 'overweight' - it is difficult, so all credit and praise to you!!

I'm in total agreement with you- this is a WONDERFUL community- so supportive and freely offering advce- so I too would like to thank everyone who posts messages for making it what it is!

All the very best with your next goal- I'm sure you will achieve it- you are a VERY SUCCESSFUL LADY!

aww so proud of you!! lol...well done! thats amazing. xxx

Congratulations! I know it sounds silly, but I completely agree that it's a huge step!

It's like just going down one size; it means so much to me, even though it's just ONE size.

Keep up the good work!

That's awesome! It must feel great.  I'm 2lbs away from being overweight.  Can't wait for that milestone!

Can I just say, this thread is one of the things that makes this site so great.

Awsome!  You just made my day!

You will get to "normal weight" I promise!

I started CC just at the obsese line.  Today I just fell under the "overweight" line.  It really does feel good to move across those lines.

Yay for you!  I remember that feeling not being "obese" for the first time in my life.   I'm working on getting down from "slightly overweight" to "normal".  Smile

That's so awesome! Congratulations on your success!

I'm just 2.5 lbs. from a total weight loss of 50 lbs. and 2.5 lbs. from a "normal" weight. Can't wait to be there! Thanks for the motivation! :)

Who knew that there were so many people out there who were happy to be overweight?  Congrats!  It is so awesome to be able to chuck that obese category.  I know a lot of hard work and exercise must have gone into the process and you deserve every accolade on this board.  GREAT JOB!

that is awesome!!!

There is strength in a community. That the community is virtual does not lessen its impact.

When one of us celebrates, we all do. Congratulations! Doin' the Happy Dance with you!
