happy polish independence day

my co-worker is from Poznan, Poland. anyway just thought i would put it out there.

i'm a 1/4 Polish, and i had no idea it was Polish independence day!

maybe i'll have some perogies for dinner :p

oh & its polish independence x3.  i knew about russia & germany of course, but forgot about austria.

I knew it was this month but totally forgot about it. How bad of me I am 100% polish I am ashamed of myself but sicne I moved to US 14 years ago I kind of lost track of those things as the years went by...I know so bad of me :(

Thanks!  My au pair is from Poland, so I just sent her a text message wishing her a happy Polish Independence Day!  I just got some brownie points (when the nanny's happy, everyone's happy! )

What about the end of WWI? They are both 90 today.

Thanks, I'm 100% Polish and it was a big day yesterday - even bigger than usually because it was the 90th anniversary of our regaining of independence.

And my godson-to-be was born yesterday  His birthday will be easy to remember
