WHAT IS HARD??? It's all in Perecption my friends.
I really wanted to post this little article that a good friend wrote. It says what a lot of people need to hear and very few will say.
Most of you know that I am a p90xer but this article really hits home and it will work with any fitness program and or diet nutrition that you are struggling with. Be thankful everyone that you have the choice and power to do what ever you choose!
Thanks Thomas for lett me post this!

WHAT IS HARD??? It's all in Perecption my friends.
I've been THINKING ABOUT WHAT IS HARD IN LIFE!!!
People want to say that P90X is too hard, there are too many workouts, the nutritional plan is too strict, that the workouts are too intense.
i say... BULLCRAP!!!!
LOSING YOUR JOB when you have a wife and 3 kids is HARD!!!
GOING THROUGH A DIVORCE is HARD!!!
HAVING YOUR SON DIE is HARD!!!
DYING FROM CANCER is HARD!!!
BEING ON KIDNEY DIALYSIS BECAUSE YOU NEED A TRANSPLANT IS HARD!!!
LEAVING YOUR FAMILY TO GO FIGHT A WAR IN IRAQ IS HARD!!!
YOUR HUSBAND DYING WHILE SERVING HIS COUNTRY IS HARD!!!
Don't give me this CRAP that P90X is too Hard! It's an hour a day, it's NOT CANCER, IT'S NOT LEADING YOUR FRIENDS INTO HOSTILE GUNFIRE IN THE CENTER OF BAGHDAD, IT'S NOT LAYING THERE IN PAIN WHILE CANCER EATS YOUR BODY!! It's EXCERCISE, IT'S 60 MINUTES A DAY, IT'S GIVING YOURSELF ENERGY AND HAPPINESS AND A CHANCE TO LIVE PAST 60!!
YOU WANT HARD?? GO TO THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND SEE KIDS DYING OF LUKEMIA! OTHERWISE, I SUGGEST YOU SHUT UP AND START GETTIN' BUSY!!!
This s&^t ain't hard man!! This is EASY compared to all the hard things you could be dealing with.
There is an 18 year old kid at our high school confined to his wheelchair because of severe Cerebral Palsy! Brian Roth would LOVE TO DO P90X!!! He WOULD GIVE ANYTHING FOR ONE CHANCE AT CHEST AND BACK AND AB RIPPER X BUT LIFE DOESN'T ALLOW THAT FOR HIM!!!
MY BROTHER IN LAW RANDY WOULD LOVE TO DO SOME YOGA.. But here he is 36 and strapped to a friggin dialysis machine thinking about "what if" "what if I die and my 2 daughters age 7 and 5 lose their father?.. what if I die and I didn't have enough money saved and my wife loses everything?.. What if I live but am not well enough to work and provide for my family?"... THAT IS HARD!!!
Jon Martin would LOVE to have JUST ONE SHOT AT PLYO, he wouldn't give 2 s%$ts that it's "hard", he would LOVE to be SUCKING WIND AND SWEATING PROFUSELY but INSTEAD HE'S BURIED 6 FEET UNDER BECAUSE OF AN INSURGENT ROADSIDE BOMB IN IRAQ!!!
THESE THINGS ARE HARD.. THESE THINGS ARE PAINFUL.. THESE THINGS ARE DIFFICULT TO EXPERIENCE AND DIFFICULT TO WITNESS!!! HECK, OUR JOB IS EASY.. WE ARE BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO DO P90X!!!
I think I can handle it.. I think I can handle changing my eating habits and that I can handle getting up at 6 AM for a morning workout. I think I can handle sore muscles and skipping the butter on my pancakes.
NOT ONLY CAN I HANDLE THIS, I SHOULD HANDLE IT AND I SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT I'M BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE ALIVE AND PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF DOING P90X!!!
ALL THE REST IS JUST AN EXCUSE!!!
NO EXCUSES!!!
EMBRACE THE PAIN!!!

Bring it!
Hm. Maybe just me, but I don't find this motivating. It feels like something my mom would say...
"You can't exercise 60 minutes a day?! There's a kid in a wheelchair who would love to be able to exercise!!"
"You aren't going to finish your dinner?! There are starving kids in Africa who would love a chance to eat your dinner!!"
No, I'm not motivated by this either. yes, I consider myself lucky and know that I have a good life without all of these threats or pains but I excercise and eat healthily to improve myself, not because someone else thinks that I should just because I am capable.
I thought that it was a good reminder that some people are worse off. It's a reminder to live life and sometimes, we need a little kick in rear.
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
