It's hard to be a garbageman when a sailor stole my CHAT...
Thought the title was tres apropos, coming from the sailor herself.
And 50 points to anyone who can name the song from whence the title came. :-)

Riiiiiiight, like I'm gonna let you get away with the last post.
Twenty-nine hours of driving? Are you taking all of the backroads?
That's some driving you have to do.. But it seemed like you live somewhere upstate NY? If that's the case, it's NOT gonna be 29 hrs...
But if anywhere else, then I wouldn't know.

It would be nice to drive to DC, but I am headed up north.
My car decided it doesn't want to make any more long trips. It told me this by choosing to completely screw up it's transmission.
It is 13 years old though so I suppose I can give it a break...

My car is ten years old and needs some work. Last time we went up north the car got a new battery.
Poor old cars...they try so hard.
My wagon has to stay alive for a few more years. They don't make them anymore and I haven't seen anything else that I like.
Hehehehe. 29 altogether (down and up...oops. Forgot to say that.) I am indeed headed down a whole lotta back roads on both the way down and the way up (gotta go south after the get-together before I go north).
Got some sightseeing to do, including the cemetery where my great-great-great-great-great grandfather is buried, Big Spring State Park, the Tunkhannock Viaduct, and the Conowingo Dam.
Gonna be a heck of a road trip. :D
