It's so hard losing this d**n pregnancy weight!!!!
UUGGGHHHH!!! WTF????? I am still not back at my pre pregnancy weight. I'm so sick of it. I'm sick of this c section gut. I went to a plastic surgeon last month and I so want to have a tummy tuck but $8000 I do not have right now. I am working out and I'm not eating all that bad. I go through spurts where I will be on my routine for a week and then fall off the next week. Today I'm starting the routine again that got me down to 125 before I got pregnant. That is where I would like to be again. I can deal with 130-135 but I cannot deal with 154. I wonder if all this weight is in my belly. My baby is almost 10 months and I feel like a loser for letting this long go by without losing all the weight. Anyone else feel the same?

Hey Vanessa!!! I swear my chemical makeup must be different now because it should not be this hard to lose weight!! This sucks!!
This is so where I'm at right now. I gained 40 lbs while I was pregnant and I still have 35 to lose! I'm working out regularly and eating right. I feel like my body is hanging on to every pound. I'm breastfeeding, too, so I don't want to drop calories too radically and have my supply suffer. But I hate not fitting into my pre-pregnancy jeans, not too mention all the front-button shirts that no longer fit over my boobs.
I'm having the same problems. My son is 16 months old and I can't lose the weight. I lost a lot but I still have 20lbs that won't budge. The beginning weight flew off - maybe in 3 months that was gone. But those 20lbs seem to be here to stay. UGH! Any advice???
Oh girl, I'm right there with ya! I'm back to the weight I was at after I had my first. And I weight about 10 pounds more than I did after I had my last baby. I should be losing, not gaining!!! Maybe we need to start some sort of accountability group?
I'm breastfeeding - maybe that's not helping b/c now I'm always hungry, which doesn't help. Do you have any advice?
We should start a new mama weight loss group! I'm all for accountability.
I'm up for the group!
I want to start trying for #2 but won't until I lose some of this weight. So hard to find time to work out since I work days a week with a commute plus of course; my time with Julia- so 15 months down the road my tummy's sorta flat but a pooch and this terrible looking skin. and, my ass is HUGE.
gotta get moving. gotta stop eating crap; expecially while staring into space; so tired; so late at night. i'm sure the daily stress of it all isn't helping my middle.....stress + sugar + sedentary office = YUCK!!!
When I got preggo w/ Julia I was 118. I went up to 180 pounds!!!!! When I came home I was at 160ish; now I'm around 140ish. I just need to lose 20 pounds by August so I can start TTC'ing. I don't want to do a fad diet either- atkins works but only for so long. That's how I got to 118 in the first place. but then eating normal plus being pregnant made me gain so much weight!!!

Maybe you're actually eating too little? If you're breastfeeding and hungry all the time, it could be you don't have enough calories to make milk which would make yoru body think it's starving and hold onto as much fat as it can.
How tall are you, what do you weight and how many calories are you eating?
As for everyone else, I totally understand! I gained over 70 pounds in my first and it literally took me 2.5 years to lose it. I don't want you guys to be dismayed but I had to be so strict with my intake in order to finally lose it. I managed to get down to 118 (at 5'3") and was very comfortable there. My second child is now 12 months old and I managed to get down to 125 but am still trying to lose the last 5-10 pounds with little success.
