a year ago i was like 135 pounds..
i do between 5 and 8 hours per week of cardio
and like 100-150 sit ups 3 or 4 days per week
everyone says to me that im thinner
but i hate my big and ugly belly
what else can i do?

I know how you feel. But reallly, it's a mind game. if you let yourself dwell on your stomach, you're going to worry more and more about it and feel worse and worse abuot it. and trust me, what you dislike about yourself is almost always much less noticable (if not, nonexistent :D) to other people!

I too have a dislike for my belly. Seems that's the first place I gain and the LAST place I lose.
However, I read in an old issue of First magazine that green tea stimulates the body to release stored fat and thus your belly will go down.
I have been taking plain old green tea tablets I got at Walgreen's for $3 or so and I've lost inches in my abs!! My family has also noticed that my tummy doesn't look as big as before.
You can also drink herbal green tea. Three cups a day is recommended. I stay there because of the caffeine.

I understand about the belly. Like glamour girl says, its the first place I gain and the last place I lose. I read in my fitness magazine that sit-up only work part of your abs. So if you want to loose weight on your belly then you have to do different kinds of crunches and ab workouts to work your entire ab muscles.
One of my favorites ab work outs is to sit on the ground with your feet flat on the floor and your knees drawn up like your getting ready to do a sit up. Then lean back your torso as far as you can. Keeping that position, take a 5 pound weight or even a medicine ball and put it on your right side. Take the ball in your right hand and move the ball or weight from the right side to the left side and back making it touch the floor on either side of you as far back as you can reach. Make sure that you are only moving your torso and using your stomach muscles to hold the position. Trying doing that 15 times for each side. Try finding different ab excercises and dieting will help with the belly. It worked for me I hope it works for you.
