I hate to say this but it is a pet peeve of my pet...
For anyone who is wondering...
My kitty Frank hates it when people call her a him. So she has a bit of an ambiguous name....can't you tell by her pretty face and full figure that she's all girl kitty???
Sorry if this seems excessively bitchy...I know we all make mistakes but it drives her nuts! LOL
Butters did not like how everyone called him a girl, either.
Cats can be pretty bitchy sometimes.
My dog hates it when he farts on the tile floor - scares the bejeezus out of him.

ha ha mine too but she is just so embarressed farting period and if it smells you can see her eyes darting hoping you won't accuse her :)
My ferret hates it whenever I take away whatever it is that he shouldn't be putting in his mouth. :P
My dog hates it when my kid farts on the tile floor. He gets a very offended look on his face and leaves the room. The kid, on the other hand, laughs manically and and scurries under the refrigerator.
The post was so good I had to say it twice
my cat was called a "him" for the first 6 months of her life untill i relized... hey, my cat doesnt have balls.
*sighs* dont judge me ha ha ha :)
hee hee cross forum warp...nice...
It peeves my pet when people mistake loose for lose. She chews up the carpet in annoyance and disdain.
My (old) cat was dubbed Zak on the way home from the vet's office.
Took him back for follow up vaccines a couple of weeks later, and they said "This is not the same cat. It's a girl!". Even the vets gets it wrong now and then...
I had a cat named George until he had kittens. Do you think that he minded that we called him Georgette after that?

heehee- Phil turned into Liz for the same reason - only cat in 20 years I was wrong about.
back to the subject, my horse Lacy's pet peeve is when my hubby feeds the out of the pecking order. If he tries to feed Maggie or Diamond first, she'll try to bite him on the way by her stall.

Sending watergirl boy child to raise as pet of her choice
my dog farts in his sleep, and wakes up right after startled and looks around the room... like "was that me? I hope no one heard that"
If he's awake when he farts, he looks around to see if anyone heard/smelled him... and if they have he'll leave the room ashamed

My cat's name is Butter and he's a he and he humps the dog toys.
My dog Dakota HATES it when people call her a him. She even got a pretty purple collar to look more girly, but it doesn't help. She also humps toys.
Sadly, she doesn't care who smells her farts, and they are silent so you have no warning. The other night she was farting so much I was feeling quite nauseous from the smell.
We had a mouse problem a while ago and my rat Strawberry was livid when one of them crept into the food bag. She was clinging to the cage bars chattering furiously until I chased it away.
My dog, blue collar, named Charlie, can clearly see he is male, is always called a she. Always. Even sometimes by a vet! And one time, someone who called him a she and realized he was a him, said it was because he had "a very girly face".
So I guess my dog is a "pretty boy"?
