I hate it when posters ...
quote something from several pages back just to say "LOL".
What bugs you about posters/posts?

at least we don't have highlighters and coloured fonts.
Oh thank goodness. That would really suck. Just think if each poster could choose the color of their background and text. You'd see a bunch of bright teal text on orange background. BLECH!
just so you know, if anyone wants to get rid of me for good, this is the way to do it.
I hate it when one corner of a poster gets ripped and so you have to either put the thumbtack in a different spot, revealing the rip and causing all kinds of asymmetrical chaos in my brain, or you have to try to hold it against the wall with the edge of the thumbtack and half the time you walk in the room and that corner's fallen down.
I hate that.
Me too pg. Just imagine all the fights and insults to be thrown around by posters who didn't like the colour combinations of other posters.
At least CC doesn't have signatures. The few times I've wondered onto the Knot for wedding planning, people have multiple screens worth of signatures, including screen length pictures of themselves or cartoon versions of themselves as brides.
...reply to the same thing I am replying to, but come up with something better.

This might have already been mentioned, but I hate it when people don't bother reading other responses before they make their's.
LOL
Yes hotfuss that is infuriating.
I must be emotionally deficient. There's not much that annoys me here.
Well....except for when young girls post fishing for compliments - that's kind of annoying.
... when they keep bringing up funyuns.
Text speak and wall of texts are the only 2 that annoy me. If someone creates a thread and one of those/or both are there, I just won't read it.
And as far as I know, "<3" is a smilie or emoticon before it became text. Unless you don't like those either, then I understand.
<3

Notice to young girls fishing for compliments, just PM me so kathygator doesn't get annoyed.
Yeah, I know it's an emoticon, and I don't mind the occasional <3. But some posters use it constantly instead of just typing I love xxxx. They'll use it several times in the same post.
Oh well, I agree with you there about that too.
moonkins, I think our cats are related.

Then there's the obvious:
- people with bizarre medical symptoms that want us to diagnose and treat them
- people with eating disorders who want us to tell them it's okay that they ate 12 calories today, don't get their period anymore, or think it's perfectly reasonable to have a fear of certain foods
- people who don't agree with me

Thanks, Tom. I owe you. :)
I really don't mind an LOL thrown in.....but I really can't stand it when someone types like 5 sentences and in those 5 sentences, there's about 10 "LOL's" randomly thrown in there.
"LOL, so I went to go stand on the scale last night LOL. And it said I'm like 95lbs LOL and I'm all thinking WOW this starvation diet is really working LOL. And please don't lecture me LOL cuz I'm just doing it to fit into my size 0 jeans LOL."

That was my Mr. Kitten. I recently found his picture on the digital camera. I'm going to send the picture to one of those places that does graphs so I can cross stitch him.
