I HATE The Weather!!!!

So today because of inclement weather in Jersey, we have off from school today, which is great, but it also means that practice for track is cancelled after school, obviously. Yesterday the coach told me to go home because of a cold I've been having and I guess he thought it was bad enough for me to go home. (Even though I felt worse earlier during the week and still did all of workouts we had on ''hard days").
And now because of the weather, Im not allowed to go out and run because its too slippery.

Does anyone know of anything else I can do to stay in shape? Because Im going insane right now!

P.S I don't have a treadmill either.

It is really tough on these days.  I am in PA so we are in the same storm.  I just went down to my basement and jumped rope.  I can only do 3 minutes of jumping and 1 minute rest.  I keep doing this until I get to about 40 minutes ( 10 sets).  Other than that, keep stretching and doing situps and pushups.

Buy a good workout dvd. Then you can do it at home or anywhere you have a laptop with a dvd player on it. I suggest Beach Body's Power 90 program. It has a cardio & weight workout  that you alternate every other day. Good luck!
