Who hates the Uniboob?
No one more than me! I am big chested (Actually it looks fine on my size) D cup or so (I always lose there first
)
I hate these sports bras-who wants your girls sticking together when you are sweating?(or ever for that matter?) Plus I look like a marshmallow on top.
I know that they make ones that fit better but I dont have 50 bucks to blow on a bra. Plust the ones that have more support can make you look like you have armor on underneath your cute gym tops. Sometimes I wear a regular one but then there is no wicking and you can burn one of those out pretty quick and of course yjey aren't cheap either.
Ugggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh If I only were a guy.
I say save up for the better-fitting bra. It'll be more comfortable and probably last longer in the long run.
Plus, don't worry about how you look at the gym. Most people at the gym are so involved with themselves that they really don't care how anyone else looks. Just wear whatever is most comfortable.
have you tried one of these? this isn't exactly the model i was looking for (everything i love gets discontinued), but it's close. i have four sports bras from la senza spirit, and i love them. i bought them for running, but i wear them every day
they're about $35 CDN at full-price, but i've always been able to get them 2-for-1.
Uniboob bras dont have enough support anyway.
I dont have a lot of money either. I have found the Champion bras sold at Target are pretty decent for less than 20 bucks. Get the kind with a light cup built in.
Danskin "Extreme Sport" sold at Walmart is also good. This one comes in various cup sizes. But Walmart does not sell a 34 in anything bigger than a B cup.
Well, (when I had breasts) what I hated even more than the uniboob was the quadraboob. Any bra that cut halfway across the chest inevitably left me with a bit of bulge if I wasn't careful to monitor quick movements! I suppose both scenarios can be solved by the purchase of an excellent (and probably more expensive) bra.
Yep, I think I may have to break down and buy a better bra-
The suggestions at Walmart and Target are good, but Iforgot to mention I'm 34D-try finding anything less than a 36 in D size!!!!!! Its horrible. It was even worse when I was bigger and a DD. (You have to go online or to amore expensive store-but still.)
And yes quadra boob is also sometimes an issue!
But Walmart does not sell a 34 in anything bigger than a B cup. Yes Madamq!!! So frustrating! But target does?
Victoria secret has some good sports bras in bigger cups/ smaller bands. (It's worth it!)
I'm a 34D myself, and I've always had much better luck finding a bra in my size at Target. Not sure about the sports bra, but regular bras are definatly there. And I like the look of their main brands too.
That being said, if I weren't a poor college student, I would definatly shop at VS more... I've had a few of their bras before and they were the best bras I've ever worn.
I tried to buy a new bra a few weeks ago, I looked through every rack in every brand and could NOT find a 36DD anywhere. I know I'm not the only one who has big boobs (I see other women who do all the time!) so wtf? I wear the uniboob bra because it is cheaper and I sometimes fall out of the other ones. But you're right, the support sucks.
Uniboob, quadriboob - I bet none of you know, as I do, the misery of the triboob.
I have one breast that is a full cup size larger than the other, so I get "quadriboob" on only one side. (I can't buy the bigger size because then the smaller one doesn't get adequate support, and since I'm D/DD or DD/DDD depending on the make of bra, it's not like I can leave the "smaller" one unsupported).
So yes, when I walk around I have triboob.
I got one of these from Champion and I love it. I'm a 36D and it fits really well and offers some separation, but also keeps the "ladies" under control. I actually managed to score it at Ross for 6$ but they only had a few sizes... I feel very lucky that they had mine :)
Do you live near any Outlet Malls? That's my usual go-to spot for things of the sort. We have Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and Puma in one Outlet Mall here in Orlando which means lots of places to look for the right size and try it on!
Yeah - I am a 34D also. I am dying over "quadraboob"
It sounds like a car ad "Now with Quadraboob suspension" lol
