Could someone please give me some info on water retention. I have not lost any weight the last few days (i was averaging between 200 - 500 grams a day).
I take my measurement every monday, the measurement for my lower leg has increased by more than 3cm in the last 2 days. What is going on. Is this water retention??
Ive been drinking green tea the last couple of days could this be causing it??
How do i get rid of the excess water, and how do i stop this from happening??
I hate my body, i hate myself, i hate my face, im sooooo UGLY. Im hating myself so much for not losing much weight the past week, UGH, i hate everything about me and this is making it worse, please some info and advice would be much appreciated.

Kylie, how much sodium do you take in on a normal day? That could be part of the problem. If you are logging your food on here then it will tell you your sodium.
Kylie,
I don't think you're experiencing water retention.
You just made a post this morning describing how you are afraid you're anorexic, and that you are restricting yourself to under 100 calories a day. First of all, with less than 100 calories, I don't even think it's possible to ingest enough sodium to cause signficant water rentention, and second, your body is probably in starvation mode - this is why you're not losing weight anymore. Your body is conserving all the calories it can to simply stay alive (your body, when doing nothing, needs 1200 calories a day), so you're metabolism is slowing down. And, I bet that in all that weight you say you've lost, you've lost a lot of muscle, which will cause your metabolism to go down even more.
You asked for advide in the ED thread, but said:
"I refuse to talk to a doctor or other health professional as i am already in mental health services for a depressive illness. Im not going to be labeled with anorexia too. "
You have to see a doctor, period, and that's the most responsible advice that anyone on these threads could possibly give you. Tell your therapist, and forget about the "labeling." It's not a label, it's a diagnosis of a condition that requires treatment from somone with more expertise than what you're going to find on an internet message board.
Please seek help!!!

Wooow! Have you been exercising? Maybe doing some extra walking, lately?.... Maybe you are building muscle!... take muscle to burn fat... I f you use lemon juice in your water it is a natural diuretic! but not eating enough will throw your body in the starvation mode... Are you not eating? Hope you plan good breakfast and keep small portioins going to fuel the body through the day! Gather good information and apply it to what works for you! Please don't hate you! You are the one person who has the opportunity to do the right thing for you! Treat you like you like to be treated.. do the best for you! You are worth the time and effort... We all are special in our own way... just got to keep trying to do the best to reach our strong, healthy, happy lifestyle... Good luck on your quest! ;-)
Under 100 cals a day is too low. You need more food. Period. Speak to your counsleor as suggested by santo...Seek help.
Swelling ankles can be a sign of impending congestive heart failure. If you have only been eating 100 calories a day, you may have screwed up your electrolyte balance, which can result in heart failure. Do you remember Terry Schiavo? The speculaiton is that she had an eating disorder and sent her electrolytes out of balance, resulting in her winding up a vegetable.
I truly hope I've terrified you, and that you will get in to see a doctor pronto.
