I haven't told ANYONE this...
I haven't had one in months...
I'm too embarassed to go to the doctor because I think....wait, because I know it's because I'm so heavy.
you need to go to the doc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what are you crazy???????????? it could be so many other things........ take it from some one who has had cervical cancer, your female stuff is nothing to play with!!!!!!!!! if your bodies not acting right that means there is something wrong....i cant say it enough....GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey 'just me here'. I saw your concern about your period and your comment about being too heavy. I am confused though, is your profile picture of you? You talk about yourself as though you are really heavy, but your picture is of a woman who is far too thin. If that is you, then you are probably not having your period because of nutrition issues. I know, who am I to comment, but I was worried when I saw how you talked about yourself when I saw your picture.
Laura
GO to the doctor! When the same thing happened to me I really had an issue! It may be because of extra kilos but if this is your picture is the exact opposite!Lauradhensley is right.
Please tell me that photo isn't of you.... your way to thin and it was easily explain why you don't have a period, but that would be the least of your worries.
Hun, If that photo really is you and you think your heavy... then you need to find someone who specializes in eating disorders for body dismorphic disorder... what you see is not what's really there.
Good luck and get some help.
Oh god no....lol
I appreciate everyone's concern (that is why I love this site so much!) I am faarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr from this pic. I weigh 285...I would love to be near...not exactly this size but damn near....you see, I'm 5'2.5 or 5'3. I am going to go to the doctor I am just terrified though!
Whew... thank goodness! Well, lets see then... I've heard of women with too much weight having the same issue as not enough. But in the end you have to see the doc, these things are nothing to sneeze about. Scary as it is, you must have a friend who can go with you and be supportive. I have a friend who hasn't had an exam in 3 years and I want to kill her... I'd drag her if I could.
Also, you DONT want to be like the women in the pic, she's no doubt anorexic or bulimic from what i see, unhealthy thin for sure.
There are two weights we should be concerned with... first is the ideal BMI range healthy weight... and the second is where we FEEL better and healthy. This second one could be a few more pounds or a few less depending on "big bones ;)" j/k but our own person size and shape... plus the way we carry it.
Seriously... change that photo... and see a doctor ASAP.
I will....and I sure am getting A LOT of flack for this photo....
Maybe you're right, I need to pick another "thinspiration"...
I am so glad that the picture wasn't of you :) I was really worried about you.
Don't worry about going to the doctor, no matter what body size or personal issues a woman is having we ALL hate going for that annual exam.
sorry but i need to say this. Justmehere if that is how you keep yourself motivated then keep your picture. Just know that you dont want to be as skinny as her but if it keeps you motivated then keep it.
