Heading to L&D to check what's going on...

Quote  |  Reply

I hope they keep me...I really do.

I had 4 hours of intense, but uneventful contractions...then nothing. Then, this morning I started to have more bloody show than just a tinge. I called my midwife's nurse and she consulted with another physician. I was told to head to L&D to be checked. I feel dorky since I am not actually contracting right now...just cramping, but they were going to get things going Monday anywho. So, let us all pray I have dialted even more and they just keep me and break my water. (Fingers crossed)Innocent Please, Jesus, please.

Even with uneventful contractions ALOT can be going on down there in the dilating dept!! With my last son (had him in January) i had been having on and off contractions and thought these are nothing but i had dilated to a 3!! The next week i was induced.  Good luck i know when your at the end of your pregnancy your miserable.  :)  Im sure you cant wait to hold your little one!!

YAY Shill!! Nothing but good labor wishes heading your way!!!!!!

I'm back. Wasn't anything immediate. She said I am fully effaced and will likely go into labor tonight or tomorrow. I hope she's right. I am getting ready to do some walking and a little housework to encourage things to happen, then I will try to relax. Since all my other contractions had come in the evening, she assumes that I will go into labor at night. At least I know something. If anything, I am still gonna have the baby Monday with her breaking my water.

My Mom said this was my late great uncle Roy's way of sending his replacement. He passed away 2 days before I got pregnant. We figure he got to heaven and let God know he needed someone to go take his place. His birthday would be tomorrow. So, I think it's only fitting to have the same arrival date as the original. LOL! I like to think things will work out like that.

What a sweet story! Here's to tomorrow! Wink
