Hello Everyone!
I just joined today. I got married just over a year ago. My husband was seriously injured 3 days home from our honeymoon. Three months in the hospital - no time for the gym and tons of fast food...has found itself attached to my body!
I'm here to lose 30 pounds! I love working out but I also love S U G A R ....all things sweet. I will be seeking motivation and support from you guys and can hopefully provide the same back. So, sugar and portions are my two problems. I did quit smoking just before I got married so that adds to my already sickly hypothyroidism, (not even counting my family of diabetics)....argh... ohhh to be 20 again!! I want to lose weight and become my best before I hit 50 next Nov.
I love the website = you can type in almost any type of food and ...Wa La - all the nutritional info pops right into your daily food count!! I love it...this is great!!! I'm pumped and ready to do this!!!
That being said...I'm on my way and admire all of you here who are doing the same...
Hi. I am new to this system, but I also like the amount of info they have. Plus I can use it on any computer. I have their task bar at the top of both my home and office computer. Hope you are having success. I am 56 and very happily married to my second wife, who I don't think has ever had a weight problem. I was at 205 a year ago, then got to 189 on July 4th. By the end of October I was back to 201. Couldn't believe it. Anyway, I have disciplined myself finally to be in the gym at least 4 days a week, and usually 6. I am back down to 195 and my goal is 185 by April 15th.
Another key for me is to eat slowly and cut portions.
GOOD LUCK and keep at it. Hope your husband is doing OK from his accident.
