Hey everyone. I know there's no one factor that can determine what the "healthiest" cereal out there is, but I'm looking for a good alternative to the cinnamon toast crunch and other high-sugar foods that are in the house a lot. Currently I'm eating Kashi Go Lean! Crunch, but it is also a bit high in sugar, although I do like all the fiber and protein. Anyone have a good, all-around healthy cereal idea for me?
Thanks bunches and Happy Easter! :)

i always have either Kellogs All Bran or Weetabix (i have two)
And i have it with skimmed milk.

Go Lean regular has a lot less calories! Try that one... it's not as sweet as Go Lean Crunch but it's much better (well in my opinion)
I like Puffins original flavor. Not sure about sugar content, but they're low-cal and they taste like Golden Grahams.
Oatmeal made with skim milk instead of water and add fresh fruit if you want. I sometimes add 2 talbespoons milled flax seed.
fiber one with a little bit of cinnamon sprinkled on w/ skim milk it is a GREAT alternative to cinn toast crunch. :) i'm eating it right now actually. yum :)
I really like Frosted Shredded Wheat.
I like fiberone a lot, it has over half of your daily fiber in just 1/2 cup.
I also like grapenuts, but this cereal is pretty high in calories.

Kashi Heart to Heart. Doesn't taste quite as good as the others, but probably THE healthiest cereal that I know of. Cinna-Raisin Crunch is also less sugary than others.
Puffin's is an excellent alternative if you love Cinnamon Toast Crunch... It's still kinda sugary, but they taste remotely similar...
If you really want a health cereal, Fiber One is really good (14g Fiber for under 60 Cals per serving)... It has a cinnamon-y taste to it that I really like...
And the regular Kashi GoLean only has 6g of Sugar and it's still quite good... A little more crunch to it than I really like though...

another vote for regular kashi golean. delicious and chock full of fiber and protein!
I like the Honey Nut Toasted Oats (Cheerio's). I buy the Publix Greenwise brand, which is organic and has more real honey taste to it. It's whole grain too! Whole grain oats is the first ingredient.
I really like Kashi heart to heart. I think it tastes a little like Honey Nut Cheerios but it's healthier. Mostly I eat plain old Cheerios( cheeper). Not as much fiber as Kashi but only 1g of sugar and it does have, I think, 3g of fiber.
I go for cheerios, rice krispies, wheat puffs, and rice chex.
MMmm, you cant go wrong with oats and fruit IMHO. Banana porridge.
Other than that I like weetbix. Yum yum

Fiber One, All Bran, or Grape Nuts with some Splenda are good too, if you don't mind artificial sweetener
im going for All Bran tommorow =D
I think it's a good idea to think about what you're gonna have for breakfast the night before.
that way you dont wake up in the morning and have a calorie packed breakfast!

I am a fan of Special K (regular), Kashi Cinnamon Harvest squares, & Cheerios. I add fruit to all of them. And I use either soy or skim milk.
Wow! Thanks for all the replies. The regular Kashi GoLean seems to be popular. Tomorrow I'm heading to the grocery store and I'll check it and all the other suggestions out. :)
Thanks for the amazing feedback, everyone.
