Ok all here for motivation!!!!

I'm excited too guys. So what kind of plans do you all have to get your 30 minute walking in? I'm going to do my treadmill.
I heard next week's challenge is most likely going to be cardio. I'm not sure what that will include; aerobics? What do you guys think? Do you think that counts as cardio?
Either way, I hope to be a big loser for our team...I'm losing pretty regularly and stepping up on my exercise will surely speed that up. Woohooo LETS GO, WE CAN DO IT!!! RA RA RA
Oh yeah, and after I realized Dances was just trying to get to us, I popped into the team 2 forum and called her out. It turns out she's popped into all the other teams too and dropped little sabatoge posts. I guess the competition has begun! I couldn't return the favor and do a sabotage post in team 2 because I have friends on her team.

KT u wanna keep track of all of our minutes for walking?? that would be a huge help......u can create it all in a spreadsheet by daily and it will calculate it all for ya.......

ooo vk I think she changed it in the sign ups thread but you're right it does still say walking in the commentary/standings thread. Things keep changing!!!!! ahhh! haha
chris I'll keeep track of hte walking for the week. So people can either post their daily walking or weekly walking. I will sift through the threads before I report them to make sure I got everyone's minutes.
I'm planning to go tot he gym tonight after work. Then we are going to the bar for my cousin-in-law's sister's 21st b-day. So we will walk there so that'll be another good 14 blocks of walking or so. I walk all over campus Tues/Thurs. so wednesday looks like I'll have to make sure and do something.
Remember guys: even if you are just walking aroudn your neighborhood, walking aroudn the mall, walking anywhere....it counts! It doesn't take that long so make sure to get it in!

Hey Team 4 .... I'm ready for this challenge ! Been here at CC for just a couple of weeks, but had been counting my calories prior to finding this site. Looks like I'm the G'ma of the group (51 yrs), but only have a 15 year old so will NOT be a G'ma any time soon !!
For the last 5 years my weight has really gone out of control and now have some health problems because of it. I'm not real active physically, but I am hoping with this challenge and my team encouragement, I CAN and WILL do it !!

Sorry for the delay but I didn't make time to be on the computer this weekend.
I'm 31 w/2 kids (10,9 - boy,girl respectively) I just found this site last week and I've learned a lot so far. I'm extremely competive so being on a team with challenges will totally motivate me.
As for a team name I like Health4life.
I have a question on the challenge and sorry if you have addressed it already but Chris, by when would you like us to let you know how many minutes we walked?

so question for everyone what r your goals for this first challenge, as in how many minutes are u going to walk i think if we choose our numbers now we will be more committed cause this is what we committ to as a group.........so im gonna ask everyone to post their goal and then ill add it up for a team goal!!!! And remeber this is intentional walking ..........

I am Parul, 27 yrsold. I am a newer member on Calorie count.. I have been thin ( healthy thin :) all my life. But after i got married 2 years ago.. i just started putting on weight 1-2 lbs a month.. and i am now 44lbs heavier..but now to ready to amke taht history and get fabulous again.. .. :) :)
