veggies??????????
I know, some of these are trickier than we think.  I would probably classify tomato soup as a veggie.  Vegetable juice is considered a veggie serving so why not tomato soup!?  It's basically pureed tomatoes...of course w/seasonings and stuff.

Oh, Clean eating, as in staying in ur calorie goals...ohhhhh.  Sometimes I'm just slower than other times I guess!  Lol

well good i had lots of veggies then today!!!
ok, so i get this challenge we wanna focus on the high point items!!!!!!  cucumbers here i come!!  low cal, and each serving is 6 points yummmmmmmmm i can eat em all day may never eat one again after this week though  lmfao!!!
yea i bought cucumbers and green beans adn I already had corn so I'm set! i bought baby carrots too cuz those are easy to snack on. so far today i've had 2 servings of fruit and 2 servings of veggies! woohoo!!!!

hey how about setting some sort of point goal for each day? maybe look at some past food logs and see about how many point you are normally at and then add a few points and there's your goal!
i don't mind this challenge but teh issue I have is that so many people are confused and have questions that the way people calculate things is goign to be very very different. dances has 145 points for today and I just don't see how that's possible when most people are saying they are around 30 or so (myself included). It's going to be hard to keep people "honest" w/o knowing how everyoen is counting things, especially serving sizes. I just wish it was more straight forward w/ not as much guesswork.
ok i'm on a posting roll! dances jsut posted her breakdown for the points today. is lettuce really worth that much? a serving is only a half cup? If that's teh case I'm just going to eat salad alllll week!

Sorry guys, I thought you all saw that in Nycolea's post earlier.  It was in her post explaining the challenge.   I was going to skip the link, but eh, if it's going to clarify sizes then why not.  Anyway, I'm short a little on my veggies so I'm heading in to slice up some cucumbers.  BTW, I'm doing well on my points for today but it does sound like Dances is doing better.
ok so it appears i have had 34 points today!!!!  And thats it AND I ATE 1230 CALORIES!!!  ALL HEALTHY, i am confused how people are eating 100+ and staying in their calories, without puking cause u would have to be shoveling in the low cal veggies thats all i can see I CANNOT POSSIBLY EAT THAT MUCH FOOD, and drink my water my stomach isnt big enuff!!!!  dont know much of what else to say, but looks like imma suck at this, cause im not aboout to walk around feeling stuffed where i cannot move!!!

ok sorry about the VENT i dont usually do that.... ill go buy lettuce and eat it breakfast lunch and dinner......i mean 6 cups is 72 points, that is one HUGE salad, no way i could finish that .....lmao ok gonna get a snack oh and its a low calorie ice cream 35 calories so it counts as dairy (according to the rules!!) so put me at 38 points!!!
chris you said lettuce is 1.5 cups per serving size. dances says it's .5 cups per serving size. I seriously will live off lettuce if that's true. kinda ridiculous
well according to that link i posted, a serving size is 1/ 2 cup.....calorie wise it is 1 1/2 cup, which is considered a serving, but i guess we go by nycolea's link which is the one i posted so 1/2 cup it is!!!

yep me too ill go buy like 5 heads or so to make it thru the week!!!  not sure if that would make it though, but ill be eating BIG ole salads this week, at lunch i have a small salad and soup lol well gonna have to skip coup and only have salad!!
mmmm I have a yummy turkey meatloaf in the oven. I've never made a meatloaf before so this will be interesting, and pretty low cal from what I entered! I did 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey, 1 egg, .5 cups breadcrumbs, .5 cups fat free milk, some spices, .5 onion, and a packet of lipton onion soup mix. If I do 4 servings for the thing, then it's only about 320 cals per serving! that's pretty awesome! i'm also going to cook up soem green beans, corn, and salad to go with it! I'm goign to be stuffed!
I sent my total for today off .The clean eating challange sounds good.

MEMO: I will be taking the average number of points or whatever units in challenges for the teams so no team has an unfair advantage over another. SO I will be dividing the number of points you get in this challenge by the number of people on your team.
