Im glad u had a great weekend BRANDY, i did too, just went overboard, scale WAS NOT FRIENDLY TODAY!!!  So i got my work cut out for me this week!!
Nycolea, can u explain how it works when we have the new members as far as weight loss, FROM NOW, or their total?
Poor KT has to suffer w/a mini shopping trip.  Lol  It really is awesome your training will count.

i did see mama was back! I was very excited!

I'm eating only 1300 cals today (plus whatever I burn riding) so I'm hoping that will shock my body back into losing. if not, I know this coming weekend will be an off weekend fo rme again while i'm in tahoe. I saw my grad pics adn ewwww I look gross. I hate them!

it might be posted a page or two back, but it is to try new exercises. So you keep track of every minute you spend trying a new exercise that you haven't done before or that you have tried but didn't like, that sort of thing. Welcome to our team! This is your first week w/ us so no worries about Saturday!

Don't think I'll be outside doing ANYTHING today .... 90's PLUS humidity!!  YUCK !!!  TGFAC  (Thank God for Air Conditioning) !!!
Anyway .... had a good but busy weekend ... didn't really count calories, but I didn't binge on anything either and this morning I was down another 3 lbs !!!   I'm hoping tomorrow that I'm not back UP !!

i just did kickboxing, that was way FUN!!!   imma try yoga, and pilates this week too!!!  I have totally switched up my excersises for this week, i did different ab workout, that was ok, pushups, interesting lol  i even rode my actual bike instead of stationary WOW, that was scary it has been prolly 20 years, not sure if i wanna do that agin i didnt last long!!  I still have my first RUN tonight!!!  If the rain stops!!! 

KT until thursday, will u post who u dont "hear" from?  Still waiting on your cute pics!!!

i might even try swimming laps tonight at the gym!! havent done that in 15 years!!

I can tell Chris!  I'm heading to the store after work to p/u a "easy on me" workout dvd.  I hope it's easy on my pocket book too!  Lol   Just kidding, I'm sure they're not priced so badly.  Eva Marie and Jane Austin are the two names I'll keep my eyes open for.  I'm pretty psyched about it too.  It just started raining by us too.  That's alright, then I won't feel bad staying in the house.

thanks for the congratulations everyone! It really does feel amazing to be DONE! I'm anxious to get seriuos abotu the tri training. It's hot again today but I'm still going to ride my bike. I went and bought a sports bra and shorts so i could still go. I'm hoping to workout at least 4 days this week, maybe do some hiking in Tahoe (at least tons of walking!). I'm really hoping that upping my cals this past weekend nad this coming weekend will help get the scale moving again. I bought a tape measure so I can actually take my measurements and see where I am in a month or so. I guess it's still somewhat possible for me to make it under 200 by the end of july but I'm not holding my breathe.

Just realx KT, maybe all the stress from finishing school, and weight loss has had some factors as well in the slow going right now!!!!  So just breathe, u are on the right track!!!  luv ya doll!!

ok no running tonight, was suppose to be my first night waaaaaaaaa, so i guess i will go to the gym and do new fun things there, ive already racked in some good time today!!
wow chris! It soundsl ike you've already worked your butt off today! I'm hoping to get at least an hour in on my bike tonight. We'll see how that goes!
OK guys, I picked up 2 dvd's.  One is for excercises specifically with the exercise ball.  I have one from my pregnancy but I never actually used it for exercising.  I mostly used it for comfort and breathing.  Long story. 

NEway, another I found was a Denise Austin video.  I hope this one counts.  I did used to do aerobics and calisthenics as a teen; I think this is a combo of the two.  Do you think it'll count? 

I have to rummage through the basement for the ball so that won't be until tomorrow.  PLEASE tell me it counts.  Otherwise I'd kick myself for not getting the yoga or pilates or tai bo (sp?).  Pilates reminds me of the old calisthentics.  But, since I've only seen spurts of it I can't say for sure. 

Any other suggestions?  I would try running on my tread too but I don't know if I'm up to that!  I'd probably only be able to go for a couple minutes.
i think that counts. I think the challenge is to do exercises that are outside of our normal routine. so even if you've done pilates before once or twice, but just as a random thing, then it would count for the challenge. that's how i'm understanding it at least!

ok so i had high cals this weekend. today I was aiming for 1300 or 1400 cals, but I burned i think around 500 riding today so i should eat about 1800 right? that is still like a 1500 cal deficit but I want to make sure i give my body that shock you guys were talking aout. does that sound right?

Hey Tess!  How's it going?  What are you going to try for the new challenge?

OK, so I did an hour of "low Impact" of Jane Austin's DVD.  Yes, I am definitely counting it.  That was HARD!!!  And it was low impact!  WTF.  I used to do it like crazy when I was a teen...like 20 years ago and it didn't seem that hard back then.  I cannot say the same now.  I was able to get through the cardio somewhat alright.  I could barely do the abs and some of the lower body I just kinda looked like she wants me to do what!?!?!?  I tried my best but I know I looked pretty pathetic.  :(  It was so discouraging that I'm that out of shape; especially since I thought I was doing really well with all my other activities.  I cried!  I gotta shake that off though because I know it's my first time in forever and it should get a little easier next time, right?  OK, DEEP BREATH, get over it Val, and try harder next time. 

The ball is tomorrow.  I'll do the Austin dvd again on Wednesday.

Tommorrow is my day for workout. i think i will try the rowing machine at the gym and an abs class. Good job on the low impact. Hey it was a little easier when we were in our 20's. lol It will get easier as you go

Gmmmmmmmmm H4Lers!!!  how is everyone today? me good my upper body is a lil sore i worked it good on the cool machines at the gym, so my triceps are burning today, what a good day f trying new things!!!  The only thing i did that i didnt count in my min yesterday was my abs!!   So tonight will be the lower body LEGS ughhhhh!! 

I love the rowing machine TESS, i never had done it till last night, Cant wait to do it again tonight!!  Good luck at your ab class!!

LoL VK, u sound just like i did yesterday when i was doing the kickboxing, in the beg (the warm-up) chic said dont worry guys we will kick it up?  I said OMG i am already sweating!!!  Good job on u workout!!  I felt great afterwards, however i cant KICK as high as the girls do!!!!  YOU DID GREAT HUN!!!!

Yep that sound right KT!! We just gotta find the right combination for u, and we will!!!!  Cant wait till u weigh in, and see how this worked, and then next week IF IT DIDNT, then we will come up with a new "plan"
