I'm here Chris! I probably missed you by now.
Late checking in this morning. It's already been a full day. Someone (A**HOLES) stole my patio set from my backyard! I really loved my patio set. Nothing fancy but it was one of the first things we bought for our house last summer. :( A**HOLES!
NEway, I had a doctor appointment this AM and my doc was very excited to see my weight go down so much since the last time I saw him. That made me feel good. He asked what I was doing and I told him "The old fashioned way!" and then I went on to tell him a little about CC. I even told him about this challenge. He asked me to write it down so he could pass it on to other patients. Shucks! *blush*
Yeah, I was pretty upset at how different my body was reacting to the exercises last night. Boy did I struggle in some parts. I did do ok with the weights part and I did ok with the cardio part, it was definitely the lower body and the abs that really kicked my butt and ego. I'm a LEO so that's a pretty big freakin ego! Lol

Funny story to share... So last night I did my workout video, no problem, I finished everything I was doing, took a shower and laid down for bed.
I had a dream that I was running, running and running, I was standing tall and not breathing heavy or anything and just as fit as possible. It was awesome, I can't wait until that dream comes true!
I don't think that I've been able to run for any length of time since I was a teenager.... So to be able to do that again is going to rock. I think once my scale hits 175, I am going to start pushing myself to run, run, and run like the wind........

vk that sucks! its always horrible to go out to find you've been robbed, my car has been broekn into many times leaving me stereoless. lol
well i hate the scale with a passion. i wish i could just leave it alone but i dont think i can. i think maybe i am putting on a tiny bit of muscle since i'm working areas i don't normally work but I don't think it's enough to make my weight stall like this. I mean, if you have more muscle you burn more fat right?!?!!!! ugh It's just really hard to keep trying when you see zero results for weeks on end. Makes me wanna eat a hamburger lol

Jess, since you dreamt it that should make you're goal seem so much more attainable. That is great! Run your buns off!!! Ah, to get to the point where I can run run run. Until then, I'm living vicariously through you and Chris on that front! :)

Kt, muscle is supposed to help you burn more fat. But it also weighs more so your weight number (scale) goes through adjustment periods. You'll get there! I do have every confidence you will. Mm, have a turkey burger! :)

what was it that someone said about muscle i read in a forum, a brick lets say is a pound of mucsle, put that next to a pound of popcorn for fat, and um s see the difference???? did that make sence
I know what u mean KT, and i am really bad, hit 195.5 friday 195 on sat and so what do i do i eat ALOT of pizza a drink!!!! Its like i am sabatoging all my work, i dont get it, my scale still hasnt made it back to 195.6, in fact im hoping there is nO GAIN this week, if there is guys i am truely truely sorry, i still have 2.5 pounds to get back to 195.5, but im hoping like in prvious weeks, my weight is always up mon tues wed, then thurs back to low, and friday sat my lowest.....
I really believe that there's a pattern too Chris. My Monday weigh in (regardless of how good or bad I am) is always more than what I weigh to report for this challenge. I weighed myself this am before going to the docs (and of course at the docs too) and I'm down 3 pounds from yesterday but still up 2 pounds from my Saturday number. I don't really have any doubts it'll be back to normal by Thursday and *crosses fingers* hopefully see a slight drop by Saturday.

ok Kt Im on my bike and on my laptop, 32 min so far longest i have ever gone!!!in fact i hAVENT BEEN ON IT FOR 3 YEARS!!!

lol that was fun did 61 min, and played spades lmao i may do that again but right now i need a break, look at what i have been missing out on the last 5 years, i coulda been playing spades AND EXCERSING lmao i never would of gotten fat!! sheesh definatly found something i enjoyed there woooooohoooooo thx nycolea ok on to more excersise

i feel great!!! so much energy right now, i just had yummy tomato soup mmmmmmmmm and now im gonna go back to the bike!!!! then i still have my abs to do, and the rest is tonight at the gym i did record yoga maybe ill try that after the bike!! im gonna have alot of minutes for us today!!
someone please shoot me. i got a chipotle burrito w/ the intention of only eating half today and saving ht eother half for tomorrow. yea right. at the whole thing. so i'm already at 1400 cals for hte day.
ohhhhhhhh no, but ohhhhhh yummy!!!!! its ok, just burn some calories today!!!!

Sorry about the patio set .... it really makes you feel so vunerable (sp?) when people get THAT close to your home !!! Scarey feeling !! I live out in the country, so I don't get too much crime. We do have day break-ins once in a while.

Chris - Don't beat yourself up for treating yourself. If we didn't have those "treats" once in a while, we probably wouldn't stick to our goals. I know I can't, that's what has put me back into my old "pattern" before :-( but with continued incouragement from this team, I am on a better road :-) YIPPEE !!!!
With the amount of exercise you do .... you'll work off that pizza in NO TIME !!!
Still not doing well with my exercise or walking :-( sorry guys! I'll try to get my hiney downstairs tonight, dust off my Nordic Trak and "ski" for a while if it doesn't hurt my feet. Since I haven't done it in YEARS, I'm sure that would qualify for something "new" ... of course at this point ANYTHING would be "new" considering I haven't done much at all :0)
Once this challenge is done, I'd still like to keep in touch ... maybe we can start another thread (?)
