well i am getting ready for my 30 min yoga, im really really scared about this, lol i dont know if i will like it, maybe i will love it who knows, but what if i cant do it!! oh thats right cant is not in my vocabulary this week!!!!!

Kt-heard that burrito calling you eh? I'm still trying to ignore that darn gyros until I've racked up enough calories to ge it. Lol
Judi-that is so sweet. Yeah, hubby is heading to the hardware store to put an extra thick chain on our grill so that's not the next thing to go. About getting so close to 50...I am so very excited! I think I'm more excited for being so close to my challenge goal though. That will officially be the skinniest (ahem...so to speak) in my adult life w/o the aid of pills. WOW!! :) Have you tried weights or crunches? You don't really need your feet for those exercises.
My stomach (abs?) hurt from last night. I don't know why the delayed reaction since it didn't hurt this AM. All I know is I did do them right because I have the pain to prove it! Lol

i think of those as good pains VK!!!!! give me pain and the ROCK hard abs!! he he i can dream right!! ill never have those too many kids and the last one was a c-section!!!!

I don't really think I'll have the rock hards either...too many years being out of shape. If it happens great but I'm definitely not expecting it.
A rowing machine...I used to have a rowing maching. I bought it for $5 at a garage sale. AND, I sold it for $5! Lol Rowing in a canoe sounds so much more fun though!!!

So today i did my first ay of trying to run 4 miles, and i did run 1.5 miles but then i QUIT, i couldnt breathe, it was awful.....im so upset with myself!!!!!
Ok so i am a smoker and that today makes me wanna quit, in fact i havent had a smoke for 2.5 hours, and i dont want one, i really really wanna learn to run...more than i wanna smoke!!! So now that i have decided this, im scared to quit what if it hurts my weigh loss ughhh i dont know what to do............

chris i think if you are working out and eating right already then you can be successful at quitting smoking w/o gainin g alot of weight. my b/f went on a hike when he was a smoker and that made him seroiusly want to quit. he was so happy when he did b/c he's able to walk around now and hike w/o feeling horrible. i will have a cig every now and then, usually when i'm out drinking, and i can feel the effects on my lungs if i workout the next morning. you should definitely quit!

Chris good job doing the 1.5 you will get all the way. remember baby steps. If you want try the learn to run a 5 k it is a great program and easy to do i know 3 people who never ran and now are running over 5. i did do rowing only 4 mins as class was starting i don't kow how you do it so long
I made an areobic class, butt and abs class, and boy val, can i feel you it was totally confusing and so much more painful than i remember.

i think i need to do like a juice fast or just a fast in general. I am eating whatever I want since even when I eat well I'm not losing. so I think maybe going a few days w/ no food would help me reset myself. Maybe eat soem fruits or veggies a little. Ithink I'll try it tomorrow and see how it goes. I have to eat something thursday b/c of my workout though.

Royerta-so how do you feel today from the aerobic class? I am so sore today, worse than yesterday.
Sorry guys, I never did get a chance to try the new ball dvd or go back to the Denise Austin dvd. I ended up playing volleyball all night...well, after we went to get some new chains and locks for the yard and grill. Then we set up our old (plastic) patio set with those flimsy plastic chairs that my f** ass doesn't quite fit into without spilling over. I didn't even try sitting in them last night. I just set the yard back up and played v-ball.
JJ-how are you doing? We haven't heard much from you. I know; you're busy kicking butt, right? :)
Chris-I think you and I are getting so upset because we have such high hopes for ourselves and feel like we're letting ourselves down. Well...that's how I feel. I'm a former smoker. I go back once in a great while but mostly when I'm drinking....that's when the crave hits me. DH is practically a chain smoker. I make him stay smokeless if I'm on the treadmill. I can't do it while he's smoking right next to me. He usually opts to just wait for me to be finished. Have you ever tried quitting before?

vk i've seen posts w/ questions similar to mine and I kinda go offa those mostly. Most people say fasting is pointless but I think it would get me back on track. I was just wodnering if anyone in here had done it personally.

KT- I tried fasting when I was in my early twenties and I really didn't lose anything. I don't remember if I gained anything. I fasted for much longer than 2 days though. D'oh! Sorry, I'm not much help in that area.
well the horrible thing is that when I am eating well I won't lose. but yesterday I had that burrito and even a mcflurry and today the scale was down! what the hell!!!!! so i'm not sure if that's just fluctuations or if I should be uppign my cals close to 2000 a day. It's like there are so many different options that i don't knwo which one to choose!!!! lol Especially when everyone else has lost like over 30 pounds sicne the begginning of hte year it's frustrating that I can't figure out what works for me. And you are just a losing machine! haha you rock!

well i have had one cig, today!! i couldnt take it anymore!!! i did try once, and i went a week no problem, but then i was like i LIKE to smoke, but the reality was i just like the habit!! And my teeth were tired of chewing on straws all day!! But I think hubby is gonna quit with me!! Im excited that would make it so much easier!! He thinks we should wait till after the weekend, since we will be with all smokers.........
My scale is still .5 pound higher than last friday so it say 196, hope i lose this week!!!!! If not sorry guys!!
