I want to say WOO FREAKIN HOO!!!  To this wonderful team.  Everyone is really trying to be there for everyone.  All I have to say is that we CAN'T lose steam.....I have been in other threads and everyone is  woo hooing and then it just fades.  So I am asking everyone to try to check in often.  We need to be the support group that everyone needs!! 

chrisbaptiste....Well i ran 2.2 miles and walked 1.1  I have my sister to keep me going.  She is in WAY better shape then me!!  HAHAHA!  But I will be there someday!!!  8)

donvito....I am glad we are here to motivate you.  I will do my best to make you accountable.  It is wonderful that you are excited.  I am here if you ever need a lift!!

vklamorick...You can surpass your goal.  Just have to stay on top of things!!  I know you can do it!!  One thing to remember....is that no one is perfect....just have to learn from any mistakes we make and move past them quickly.

ktcort13...Don't feel intimidated!!  You are out to do something you have never done before and that in itself is a great reward!!  So look at it like that, who cares about everyone else.

Ok I must get back to pretending that I am working....HAHAHA!  The team Rocks!!!!

I did a 30 min walk last night. team spirit is exciting. I am going try to do 30 mins twice a day.. will keep u posted

had a question? do we log in our mins in the thread or in the activity log.?? i guess both wud be better.. but just checking
you can do both. the activity log will be more for your personal use and the thread is so we can keep track of it. Try to copy and paste the existing list of minutes so we keep track easily.

Got in my 30 min walk before lunch today ..... VERY hot outside so I used the treadmill at work.  You'd THINK I'd have used it more than this, but NOW I have a support TEAM to motivate me!!

I just did 30 min on the treadmil along with all my other workouts, its tuesday do i walk with my friend tonight so i may hit 100 min today!! 

Man i love how our team spirit is going we just gotta keep it up for 12 weeks......which i know we can do we have an awesome group here!!!  i find the ore and more i am on here the ore and more i wanna do!!

ok tonight when i do more ill just increase my 30 to whatever on the list everyone else who add to theirs do the same so katie has a good list to work with at night!!

JUDI-katie will add it up at the end of the week for each person and a grand total!!

g8 job good idea on twice a day FAB, it may be easier to add more time that way!!!

anyway gotta get the kids lunch and i should prolly journal i havent been lately!!!

oh BTW day one so far has logged 450 min!!!!!!  with 3 missing!!  NICE WORK!!

I want to do a 300 to 500 cal a meal 5 to 6 times a day. Does that make sense. Anywho, would you guys be able to recommend some good sites with this info. I tried searching here but didn't have luck. Probably user error.

Also anyone know of a good protien shake. By good I mean good in taste, nutrition, and cost.

DON i just use this website, and i calculate each food individually and then add em up, here is a new thing i have been doing as well it may help some f u i dont know its worth a shot, in the evening when we are sitting around doing nothing i write a "plan" for the next day sometimes i do 2 days for instence this is what it looked like for today, however i dont know what i am eating for dinner yet its just an example!!

BREAKFAST:    1 shake 180  done!!

SNACK:      &nb sp;      popcor n 3 cups 45 calories  done!!

LUNCH:      &nb sp;     rice bowl  260 calories  done!!

SNACK:      &nb sp;      2snack bar 240 calories   done!!

725 as of right now   need 475 for dinner

       &nb sp;               &nb sp;  

DINNER:

EXCERSISE:

50 squats  done!!

50 butt    done!!

150 crunches  done!!

72 arm w/ 20 pound weight  done!!  ouchhhh

72 leg w/ 20 pound weight  done!!

30 min treadmill  done!!

60 min///3.5 mile walk

anyway this seems to hold me accountable i HAVE TO PUT DONE next to each item, since i went to the trouble of typing it daily i tend to follow "my plan"  anyway just a thought that may help some of you!!

yeah well until 4 years ago double that i worked out alot to stay a size 4 for years!!  then i stopped life stuff........anyway im slowly progressing back up, but ty i started pretty small 51/2 weeks ago or so!!

Hi Sorry no stats for yesterday. It was a holiday here and was hanging out with the family and gardening. Got in my minutes today. I added the stepper at the gym just for this challange. I also do the eplil for a 30 min

Sorry, been busy ever since I got off work.  T-ball practice then the treadmill...just finished a few minutes ago.

I checked the rules the stepper counts as walking so do i get another half hour
D'oh!  Sorry Royerta, I edited my above post to reflect that....totally my bad!!  So are you as tired as I am???  I'm so pooped. 

So what kind of gardening do you do?  I'm hoping to find time this holiday weekend to spruce up the front of my house with some pretty colors.  I've got 3 flower beds that are in dire need of attention.
I have tons of weeding and had to deheaded all the rhodos. I'm a begginer gardener and i have fruit trees as well. We have had 3 beautiful sunny days. The gym just poops me out but i thought of the challange and did my 30 mins on the stepper usally only do 12. The walk was to spend time with my mom.
