i eat the special k red berries and that to me is not a treat. megon said we need to use other things besides sugar to sweeten our treats but also said anything with sugar coutns, even if it's somthing that you can't replace the sugar in. it just doesn't make sense. if i'm using my discretion then my cereal is fine and i'm nto losing points for it. but if they dont' want us to use our discretion we need this explained a little better.
D'oh, and I should add that I will try a sugar substitute at least once this week. I gotta go around to the ladies in the office and see if they have any extra packets I can have. If I like it then hey...I'll switch.
Splenda is not as after tasting, it is good!!

me, i am good!!!! This challenge is confusing, and not explained to well, my apologies team!!
I am lost cause my protein bars have sugar.....lmao so now i cant eat them??? jUST KIDDING, I HAVENT EVEN LOOKED!! Not understanding here for instance this challenge shuld be based on grams, if lets say special k has 2g sugar, then that should be like 2 points, compared to 30g in candy, im justguessing here, almost everything has sugar in it, including fruit.,,,,
what do i substitute on my grapes.......i mean grapes naturally have 14.9g of sugar in them so cant eat those??? 13g in my apple??? hmmmmm lmao sorry so what CAN I EAT, I HAVENT EATEN ALL DAY LMAO CAUSE EVERYTHING HAS SUGAR!!!! Jk, but seriously, name one item besides water that has no sugar??

well scale says 190 this morning wooooooohooooo, i hit my july goal!! thats 5 pounds since last monday though, but i also last monday was TOM, so that makes since!!

Fruits are safe. I just snuck into the Slims thread and saw Sleepy put out a plate of fruit. (LOL) Also Sleepy mentioned putting fruits into things to replace the sweet of regular sugar. SO....

Well I'm not counting fruit against me. It doesn't have "added" sugar and I don't add sugar to it. Besides, like you mentioned, pretty much everything has sugar in it. Even veggies...a cup of brocolli has 1.5g of sugar, onions 6.8g, green beans 2.0g. So me eating my strawberries is comparable to me eating onions!

hahaha val you're so bad! lol i'm gonna pick him up from the airport tomorrow and take him hoem so he can shower and rest (he's gonna smell lol) then I'll get to hang out w/ him tomorrow night. :) adn i'm taking wednesday off from work to be w/ him. I was watching thsi cute show last night called "i propose". i don't know why i torture myself w/ crap liek that but it was soooo cute! i can't wait til he finally proposes! i am tired of waiting! haha but i'll take what i can get right now i guess lol

The idea of no sweets week is to get us to find ways of satisfying our sweet tooth in other ways that are more healthy. like instead of using brown sugar on oatmeal try fruit that is naturaly sweet. Not eating cereals that are sugar coated like frosted flakes. I don't think spagettie sauce that has sugar will cause you to lose points there is not enough in it. Megon can give the final word on that. this challende will also make us aware of what we are eating that has sugar in it that we might not of thought of. hope this helps

haha, i really woud love to, i really do love mowing, good excersise, infact i have a rider, but switched to pushing cause of the amunt of calories burned!! i find it relaxing, i like to look at the pretty lines...lmao im the same way about vaccuming, it is some obsessive thing i have, my mind and body just relax, the smells lol

my problem w/ common sense is that it isn't very common. i don't consider my special k sweet. but i'm not sure if megon considers it sweet or not. so as far as i'm concerned i still have all my points. if megon wants to say i need to deduct points then they will have to be more specific. that's my take on this challenge!
