OOh I almost broke down when my sister drove us through the mcdonalds drive through today.... it was really hot and I had watched dessert shows all afternoon!! But I didn't break!!!! No desserts or fatty foods in fact... I waited till I got home and ate good.... go me!! I think that's a first for me!!
Hey Val... I got some Splenda for my Kool-Aid... no weird after taste!!!!! In fact I think I like it better than the sugar... at least in this! We'll see about other things!!
i actually like splenda just fine. equal has been fine too.

haha don! he was actually exhausted. i jsut called him and woke him up! he'd been sleeping for like the past 5 hours! maybe he'll be well rested ;)
Hi All

Sounds like everyone is doing well on the no sugar challange. We are having a heat wave the last few days. It makes it hard to go to the gym but, at least i still have hours and hours of gardening to keep me occupied.

Kt you sounds so happy i'm glad your bf is back and we look forward to hearing about your treasures from his trip.

Don that sounds so scary for your ladies at work let's hope that they catch him. No gym way too hot for me.

Oh CRAP!! I just screwed up... -100 points for me today, stupid, stupid stupid!!!!!! 

I was walking to my desk and someone had dunkin donuts, yummy, so I was trying to be good and split one with someone, you know half the calories, yet the craving has been meet and when I was done eating it, I remembered NO SUGAR!!!  Ugh too late now. 

Sorry everyone!  I was doing so well with this challenge too, and I get a little tired and not thinking!  But atleast I didn't eat the whole thing, so my calories are right in line! 

Hope you all are doing better than me...sniff sniff
Jess, I've already cost myself 2 servings w/my Monday and Tuesday oatmeal.  I have my splenda for this morning.  I'm about to eat it so we'll see. 

Tess/Don-get to it.  I jumped on the treadmill last night and then did some weights and crunches afterward.  I didn't do the jog though...I instead put myself on a steep incline.  I really want to see that definition of my thigh muscles.  It'll be a first and I'm excited...I'm getting there.  You guys keep me honest!  Thanx!!!

Chris-did you get in your exercise yesterday?  How did the game go?

Woohoo, the humidity is down to a minimum and the heat broke...I'm playing volleyball tonite if all goes well.  Neighbor got a new ball!!!!  Um, you know what I mean.  LOL

Hey Tess. Yeah I hope they catch him as well. They were able to review the film from the cameras in the hall way and have an actual picture of him. As for the gym hopefully you will be able to go soon.

Jess...it's okay. it happens and you are right at least your calories are in line. Good thinking on a way to take away the craving.

Val...You go on with your bad self. I really need to stick with the cruches. I did make it to the gym last night. Pretty decent workout. Only bad thing is that it left me amped up and I didn't get much sleep..even with the additional home cardio. LOL

Okay so made it to the gym this morning. Ran my mile and then did crunches and worked the obliques. I couldn't resist so I stepped on the scale at the gym and if I read it correctly I am at 247. VERY NICE. I am going to take some more off before weigh in (speaking in the positive)

I can't believe I'm still hungry had a cup of oatmeal with an apple. what gives.

Wow am I having one of those days.  I need to start thinking before I eat... I just had a cookie, stupid!  Oh well.  Now I am down 200 points!  No More I promise! 

I hope everyone else is doing better!  I'm seriously not sure what my deal is today.  I haven't been this bad in so long.  I just keep managing to subconsciously put food into my mouth, and then think OMG what the heck did I just do....It's got to be because I only slept like an hour last night. 
hey guys! haha i'm around! b/f enjoyed mexican food last night, which is his absoulte fave and i'm surprised he survived w/o it for so long. his sleep schedule is stll so messed up. he went to bed before 9, got out of bed at 2:30, finally laid back down at 4:30and got up at 6:30. cuz when it's mroning here it's night there. we're gonna go walk around downtown today and hang out. so of course i didnt get to sleep in b/c he was up early so i was up at 7

i think i'vel ost 200 points so far. pretty good. hopefully i'll keep that up today!

VK-Your getting the nice weather we had last night, it was nice at the game!!  It was only a 6 inning game, against area celebrities, like television people, and radio, and thosethat watch survivor, Danni, wo won 2 seasons ago, she was there playing...was a fun girls night!!

As for my excersise yesterday it was a MINI workout!!!  did 100 crunches and some leg stuff, when i say mini i mean mini!!!!!

But i am going to get back on track today, i am definatly gonna do weights, i already have 200 crunches in, gonna do 300 more....tonight hubby has a double header softball game, so we are gonna go watch him.....

VK- did u try the splenda?  How was it?

I did.  To me it has the same taste as my sugar free coffee creamer.  I can deal...so that's cool.  I hate wasting money and the only one I could find was the $4 box w/100 packets so I'm basically committed now.  Lol

Yes Jess, worry first about your calories...I agree with that.
vkla- I love splenda.... So much more than all the other artifical sweetners, I am sure you'll get use to it!  Commitment may be a good thing, you may become hooked! 

I've been within my calories, because I haven't really eaten much at all today, I am so sleepy!  So I am not going to worry about it too much, but sheesh I seriously don't remember the last time I've eaten without thinking first. 

Chris-YEAH!!  broke into the 180's with grace, you are doing a terrific job!  I am so happy for you. 

Kt- I am glad to see your enjoying your bf, I am sure you missed each other a lot!  Hopefully you realize how important you are to one another!

Jess- i feel ya on the sleep, i have had like insomnia, for about 3 months now, lol not sure if it is really insomnia, BUT I CANT GO TO SLEEP!!!!  If i wasnt such a freak id go to the doc and get a sleeping pill, but i dont take anything waaaaaa lol  So i generally go to sleep anywhere from 3am to 5 am, i wake up anywhere from 6am-9am   sux!!!!  Last night was a good one lol fell asleep about 330, woke up at 630!!

okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk hope everyone us having a womderful wonderful day, for me i am still at 1500 points!!!  However i really want a candy bar, hmmmmmmmm wonder why i hate candy, but a recees sounds delicious!!  Prolly cause i was told i CANT, prolly why i dont restrict food, if i do, then i crave it!!
Believe it or not I actually took 2 sleeping pills last night, hoping that they'd knock me out, but it didn't work.  Maybe that's why I feel so bad.  Who knows! 

But you are right about craving sweets, I totally am too!
I bet you hit the nail on the head...because we've been told we can't it seems to be noticeably everywhere.  I don't remember the last time I indulged in a coffee roll or anything but yesterday I had to scram out of the lunchroom lickety split.  Normally it doesn't tempt me that way.
owell, what can we do the week is almost over, think ill have a diet pepsi...

Still have not done my weights lol did another 100 crunches, im really looking DEEP for my motivation, i need someone to push my a** in the room and just do it!!!

where is everyone?
I went downstairs to the mall still in search of shorts.  I can't bring myself to pay $45 bucks for 2 pairs of shorts on sale (Lane Bryant)knowing/hoping I won't be fitting in them after this "shorts" season. 

I hit Target for the 5th time (yesterday is their stock arrival day) and found a new addition to their shelf...finally!!! 

Eh, I ran out of time to eat lunch so I heated up the Lean Cuisine pizza and I'm eating and posting here instead of working.  Lol
ha ha, have u ever been to kohls, they are having a hugeeeee sale starting tomorrow!!!

i wont buy new shorts either, i will  only buy workout ones!!!!  i actually cut off a couple pairs of 14 jeans to short for the summer lol i had them hanging in my closet, and by jean time i plan on being in a 12, so why not cut em up before i throw them away!!
My wife told me that the shorts I always use to wear are starting to look like skirts on me.

The suit that I'm wearing today is loose.
