Hi guys another awesome week!
Well, I have officially dissolved the Lean N Mean Dragonz due to lack of participation and failure to receive anything for the team in the last two weigh ins. But I have given those on the team the opportunity to be placed on one of YOUR teams, but only per request. I don't want to place anyone on your team who doesn't want to be "here".
And the challenge for next week will be the cardio challenge! So, you get 1 point for every minute of cardio you do. The team with the greatest average of minutes will win the challenge.
I would also like to aplogize to the Health4Life team. I did not mean to put you guys on the spot with coming up for the challenge in a matter of a day in a half. I did not realize that nothing much was going on the Lean N Mean Dragonz Team. But I thank you for your selection! I think we all need to get back to the exercising thing (well at least I do). And since we no longer have the Lean N Mean Dragonz if you guys would like to use whatever challenge that you can think of by the 10th week, than we can... its all up to you guys!
And forks congragulations on really PULLING out of that plateau. I know it may have been due to "not so good" circumstances. But you never know, this may really kick start your weight loss!
Last, but not least I would like to congragulate the new inductees into the Ten Pound Club:

and the Twenty Pound Club:

i can't believe we won again! i think all you big losers are really makin it happen for us! well i hope to make you all proud this week and kick butt in cardio. my goal is to get up in the am and run. we'll see how well i do with that, but i really want that to be my routine from now on so i can be at a good place for the triathlon. great job and everyone lace up those running shoes!

i will defer the answer to that question to chris but i'm pretty sure it does. any cardio. so as long as you are walkin at a quicker than normal pace (normal walking doesnt count) it shoudl count. chris?
I'm having mixed feelings about the challenge lol!! I'm dreadig cardio... but I'm glad it is cause I need to get my butt in gear and do some more!!! I've been slacking on it lately... so this will help motivate me... come on H4L's!!! We can win this challenge too!!!
ha ha i hate cardio, but yes walking counts, NOT WALKING TO UR CAR, but intentional excersise, anything that gets your heart rate up!!! Now if u park farther away to get extra walking at the store, u can count that, U SHOULD COUNT WHAT U FEEL AS CARDIO!! And we will take the averages again for the winner...i think it will give us a good PUSH this week, i know i need it!!! As i am gonna assume everyone else does too!!!

Hoooyeah!!! It's our birthday...it's our birthday!!! Just kidding about the b-day but I see we did a double win this week. Oh yeah baby!!! I'm on vacation...I'm winning....I'm having fun...Hoooyeah!!! I overate today and didn't feel like I did a lot of walking either. But...there is tomorrow and I was a bit disappointed I couldn't dip into the pool today but first thing in the AM I plan on doing some laps....aka CARDIO!!! And it wasn't even planned for this week's challenge. OK, I'm beat so I'm hitting the sack. I'll read all your posts tomorrow around this time again. I'm not going to try to log my foods like I normally do...throughout the day. I'm writing them down and decided I'll post before bed.

Hello Gang-
I hope this finds everyone good on the Monday Morning. I just wanted to say that I am sorry for being so quite the last couple of weeks alot has been going on here and i just havent had the time or the energy. My father in law has been having some heart trouble and stuff so trying to make sure him and my mother in law have everything that they need. Then over the 4th Holiday my brother passed away after a long 9 year battle with Cancer he was only 27. This has been especially hard for that he is my only brother and i miss him dearly. So i am trying to stay strong and trying to eat right and excersice but some days are tougher than others. But i am here to commit to my healthy lifestyle. So i will keep on keeping on. So lets kick butt on this Cardio challenge!!!!

awww I wish those minutes counted but the challenge week starts today! so anything you did yesterday doesn't count towards the week's totals. good job on the walk though!
