Hello,

It looks like we are all somewhat busy or just preocupied with life/work. Hopefully we are still staying together as a team.

I cut the bottom on my left foot. Nothing serious but I for sure can't run for a while. tough enough just to walk. I'm going to put in my cardio min with the bicycle.

Hope everyone else is doing well.
Hi hi Hi guys, well i was sleeping!!

I had this crazy thought last nigh, ill just stay up till tonight, then i can sleep???  Well didnt workout so well, i took a nice long nap, only 3 hours but now maybe i will be able to slepp?   lol we wil see

scale said 187 today!!  only a pound, but a pound is a pound, and its only wednesday!!

How are our numbers looking KT?
I went to Malibu this weekend. Never have been there before but there beaches have rocks both big and small. One of the waves picked me up and when I came down I cut the bottom of my foot on one of the rocks. NO BUENO

Worst part is that I got sand in it and was unable to clean it out right away. Santa Moncia is pretty close and we went walking at the 3rd street promenade. I don't think that helped much but you know us guys have to be all macho and what not. Finally when I got home I was able to open it u[ and take out the sand. Pretty gnarly. Oh well.

I'm looking forward to the HP7 book release. We are going to go to the midnight party at the Barnes and Nobles by our house. Random thought but I'm pretty excited.

yes yes more cardio everyone! i will be doing a double workout tomorrow. try and do extra! we are on a roll so we gotta keep up the wins.

unfortunately i think i'm putting on muscle so my weight isn't going down :(  i'm trying to drink lots of water though so hopeuflly it will go down!

I get so frustrated that I will go weeks w/o losing then only lose like 1 or 2 pounds. I wish it was more consistent. I was hoping ot have lost a lot more by now. O well, as long as I'm under 200 by the tri I'll be happy I guess. I was hoping to be at 190 by then but that won't be happening. ah well such is life

I went to the gym last night and did some cardio. Did 15 min on the bike and 20 on the gazelle. Foot hurt somewhat but I was okay. Luckily I was able to fall asleep. (Don't mean to rub it in Chris. I feel for you kid. When you finally do crash you are going to crash hard) Usually if I workout at night I find it hard to sleep.

Went this morning and did 20 min on the eleptical. Was running a bit late or else I would've done more.

Hey all!  I have to post my weight today because I will be away starting tonight, until Sunday. 

On the bright side of things I was down to 174.0 this morning, so in 6 days I lost 1.4 lbs (last friday 175.4).  Hooray!!!  I've been sending KT my cardio minutes!

I got u and hour ago!!  Which means i slept better last night, i went to sleep at 1:30 am, so i slept 8 hours!!  woooooohooooo

DON-i have never done slim in 6, are they cardio tapes?  Good job at the gym!!  And its ok about going to sleep, i wouldnt want us all to be cranky!!!

Hey I have the slim in 6 workout, it's a combination of cardio/strength training.  I've done them, they aren't easy, and you can feel it in the morning.  I wish I could be more constant but with my work schedule I have to fit in exercise when I can....

There was a thread about it once before and some people's before and after pictures really inspired me to try and be consistant, but after 12 hours of work, I just get exhausted. 
Chris - I'm "here" ... awwww... nice to know I'm missed :-) I hope you're feeling better today .... that is amazing that you cannot sleep, I cannot imagine what MY mood would be like.  Besides when I don't get enough sleep I really get bad headaches as well as stomach problems (I know, I'm weird). 

Sorry guys ... haven't been able to do the cardio this week :-(  bad, bad Judi .... seems like there is ALWAYS something to do when I get home and my daughter is in driver's training, so I've been taking her to her driving lessons, etc.... I PROMISE I will try for tonite .... since my foot is still VERY painful - I'm going to try my nordic track ..... ooooo I get so upset with myself!!!

Anyway - I posted this on another thread I read today and wanted to share with my AWESOME team:

Pick up something that weighs the amount that you've lost ..... WHAT inspiration and motivation !! 

Yesterday I was preparing a box to ship UPS (I do shipping/receiving for a small company).... anyway after weighing it, I picked it back up again and realized ..... OMGosh ..... I've LOST this much weight !!  (35 lbs total - 25 here on CC)
I'll tell you, it brought tears to my eyes .... that was a GREAT reality check!!  :-)

Oh yea ...  also wanted to let everyone know .... if you have a Jimmy Johns near you (similar to subway) ... I looked up their website and "made" my sandwich online before I went there. 
The sandwiches come with specific items (for those that don't know) but you can substitute ....well on the website you can make those substitutions and see the nutritional values change... COOL !!  I got a Billy Club UNwich (lettuce wrap in stead of bread) and no mayo.  Went from 866 calories to 303 !!! 

Just wanted to share that.

Hey Judi happy you checked in and of course your missed. I like the idea of picking up something that weighs the amount you lost. I'll try it once I've lost about 35 or so

speaking of food..my wife sent me an e-mail from Hungry Girl. It compared the McDonald's Southwest Salad w/Grilled Chicken and it only had 420 cals. If you only use 1/2 of the pack of salad dressing you can save an additional 50 cals and approx 3 grams of fat. So can you guess what I'm having for lunch?

Don - There's a link on it here... I just did a search in the forums for it and there's quite a few opinions and such on it if you want to check it out.

I have a feeling we need to step up the cardio if we're going to win this week!! I'm going to pull the bike out of the back of the shed finally!!! Have a good day everyone!!
