Eh, I was lurking in the sports for kids forum. I saw your post too. I tell ya, some of the forums can get really crazy! Then I snooped over at some of the political talks. Yup, I'm a glutton for controversy sometimes. Lol Some of our fellow posters are so versed in current events I feel like I don't listen to NPR everyday. I do, I really do!!!
Ok, I'm going to do some crunches and weights for sure tonite. Like I said, I need to get rid of the hang (as much as possible) from my upper arms.
I haven't been able to master push ups but I sure do try. My arms quiver...and then lil'v walks by to copy me and she starts explaining how easy it is (complete with a roll of the eyes as if she's saying do I have to explain this again!?)...I crack up laughing and all is lost.

Val- is it your triceps, i have that same problem, do kickbacks and push downs, its been helping a little!!

I don't know if it's my triceps. I'm not that great at the muscle names. It's the flab that hangs when extending your arms like you're flying.

Wow... I didn't even think I did that much!! I didn't add up for the whole week cause I just messaged KT daily... I guess stuff really can add up!!!
I'm excited because my Slim in 6 stuff came today and that's all about strength training and resistance so it was perfect timing!!!! I'll probably do a lot of that this week... but I also have some other videos and stuff that work on that plus I just got some resistance bands and weights that my parents don't use anymore!!
Sounds like Chris and Val have been busy today!! Lol... I just got home from my practicum orientation so I'm ready to "Get Physical" as Olivia Newton-John would say!!

Ugh, BAM, I just got hit with a migraine. ANd stupid stupid me forgot to take the migraine medicine out of my vacation bag and put it back in my purse. Stupid, supid, stupid Val!!!
Aww... poor Val! I know how those suck!! Try eating/drinking something really cold if you can... that helps sometimes!
I took 2 excedrin migraine (otc) pills followed up with 2 glasses of water. They don't usually work for me because they don't get in my system fast enough. My prescription med does because it disolves into your blood streem in a minute or 2.
Regardless if they work or not, that much water so close to my drive home will prove to be interesting. Lol Ouch!

aww poor val. i always seem to get a migraine the day i forgot my migraine med. i use maxalt and it is awesome! my headaches were getting so debilitating by freshman year that i tried out tons of diff meds until they finally foudn one that worked. and now that i'm out of school i've weened myself off of the daily headache meds and only use the migraine stuff when i get one.i love that stuff!
Yeah... I'm gonna take measurements and pics tonight and can have those to compare every week as well as weight.... I'm trying to get some sort of Slim in 6 challenge going too.... I have a few takers already so if anyone knows of anyone who's interested you can send 'em my way!!

Ok... so I added weights and the resistance band to my Slim in 6.... apparently they don't start you off with that... but I wanted to count the minutes for this week's challenge!! I guess that stuff starts in "Stage 2 & 3". I can tell I'm gonna feel this tomorrow though!!
TRV: AWESOME WITH THE SI6!!!! I really love that program... I ordered it 5 years ago and man oh man I wish I would have used it more often... It was really awesome. I got rid of it now.... You will feel it tomorrow but just work through it!
