Yeah i stopped eating cereal because it would seriously put me into a rage...i would start shaking...i'm looking into angerment issues...anywhoo now I love oatmeal with pumpkin and fiber one. It is 1/2 cup oats cooked in 1 cup water, add 1/4 cup pumpkin when almost done cooking, stir in to let the pumpkin heat up. Dispense into bowl, add sweetener, cinnamon and then 1/3 cup fiber one. I also like to make breakfast tacos by sauteeing some mushrooms, onions, tomatos and bell peppers. Once those are done i throw in some black beans (1/4 cup) and then let those heat up. Then i add 1/2-2/3 cup of egg beaters (depending on how hungry I am). Let those cook and then stuff it into two regular sized LTF tortillas with salsa. And i always have my coffee and water.

Kashi Cereals are usually pretty good!  They have fewer preservatives and usually a fairly high amount of fiber.  The only downfall is that Kashi seems to be on the more expensive side.  Oatmeal with raisins, fruit or nuts mixed in is always a good option!

I like to make a breakfast sandwich with a toasted englishmuffin and a 'fried' egg, but I use fat-free cooking spray so I'm not frying the egg in any fat.  Sometimes I add a slice of cheese or ham or both.  Other days I eat an english muffin or light toast w/ peanut butter, sometimes I add jelly.  Other days I eat oatmeal.  Sometimes I eat a little bit of leftovers from dinner from the week.

a thomas' light whole wheat english muffin and peanut butter. make sure you get the english muffins in the kind with 8 grams of fiber per serving. =)

for a treat/unhealthy breakfast, i make grits and eat it with "fried" egg whites (cooked with a nonstick spray), and some bacon with most of the fat taken off before i cook them. it sounds really unhealthy, but it's less than 300 calories. =) my mom's bf is from north carolina, so he got us into the whole grits sensation.

BREAKFAST 300 CALORIES / 20 grams FIBER

  • one cup Kashi Go Lean Cereal
  • one half cup unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze
  • one toasted Thomas' light multigrain english muffin
  • two tablespoons roasted red pepper hummus
  • one cube, Laughing cow light gourmet cheese bites

I just grab a Slim Fast for breakfast, only 180 calories.

I eat Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal. It has less then 1 gram of sugar. It also has 6 grams of fiber and 7 grams of protien. I top it with 2 TBSP of ground organic ground flax seed (Wal-mart). Very filling.

There is a lot of sugar in cold cereal. You have to read all the labels.

I used to buy various mueslis and cereals until I discovered the wonderful thing that is oatmeal. First of all, you cannot beat it on price - I'm in the UK and I buy it for 69p (about $1.20) per kilogram. One portion for me is about 30g, so I have 33 portions for$1.20!

I love the taste of it, all it takes is a few minutes in the microwave, and it's a bit like blank canvas - sometimes I have it with unsweetened cocoa powder and splenda, sometimes with dried fruit, sometimes with a banana, sometimes even with a splash of cherry liqueur!.
