Are there any healthy cereals I can eat?

I am getting very tired of oatmeal and I've been craving cereal.

Branflakes, shreddies, no added sugar muesli, low sugar granola, kashi (if you can get it where you live), multigrain puffs or flakes, shredded wheat, weetabix, grapenuts.

Or you could try a different breakfast like greek yoghurt, fruit/honey, and nuts.

Or toast (could have rye bread) with nut butters, soft cheeses ect

Heck yeah. Cheerios, bran flakes, anything whole grain, low sugar. Mini-wheats, corn flakes, rice and wheat squares, Kashi GoLean, grape nut flakes, Product 19, Total, Health Valley Organic Oat Bran Flakes.

Read the labels and make healthy choices. http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/ch oosing-healthy-breakfast-cereal

i fing that all the KASHI cereals are pretty tasty and they are quite nutritious. of course anything without added sugar is going to  be BETTER but i think that sometimes it's fun to have the sweetened ones.

you can always get plain cheerios and add chopped banana and honey to it

regular total with cranberries and lowfat chocolate milk

mini wheats with sliced peaches and almonds...

or go the lazy way (like me) and get .....

Kashi honey sunshine

fiber one honey clusters

fiber one raisin bran

kix

I eat Kashi GoLean every morning, or a cereal called Good Friends...I think it's also Kashi, not sure. They're both great and full of fiber!

Fiber one!!! I love this, because it has only 60 calories per serving (1/2 cup), and it's PACKED with filling fiber!

kashi(the pink/red box)- the lowest calorie is 1 serving(1 cup)=140 and 1.2 cup of fat free milk=40= 180. Great, huh! corn flakes also only have 110. But Kashi gives you a lot more for 1 cup ans is really filling and packed with protein and fiber. I eat for lunch with and apple and I'm good!

I find I'm hungrier after eating Fibre One than I was before I started.  I think it may have something to do with all the artificial sweetener they pack into the stuff.  (Specifically referencing their Raisin Bran here, but I hear the other versions are similar.)

For filling cereals, the only ones that work for me are the no-sugar-added ones like Alpen (a brand of muesli), some raisin brans and similar cereals (the Post Selects Date/Pecan Crunch is yummy; their Almond/Cranberry one is too sugary sweet), and shredded wheat.

I approve this message.

I agree with everyone who mentioned Kashi cereals. I eat Kashi GoLEAN Crunch! quite often and find it similar to granola. I like it mixed with yogurt, fruit and/or dried fruit and nuts or just simply with soy milk and frozen blueberries.

Unfortunately, that is the only cereal I have tried by the company, but I have been thinking on trying out other ones, especially the original GoLean.

Other cereals I eat for breakfast are by Nature's Path and Puffins (original and peanut butter varieties by Barbara's Bakery).

Thank you(:

Old fashioned Shredded Wheat, Cheerios,  Wheat Chex, Bran or whole wheat chex

I like Barbara's Shredded Oats.

I have also been known to make my own granola, which has a lot of calories, but is pretty nutritious/satisfying.

Have you tried any other grains?  I like polenta, leftover brown rice (add some cinnamon and dried cherries, tastes like rice pudding), Cream of Wheat, Bob's 10 grain.

I also like Grape-Nuts once in awhile.

All Bran Strawberry Medley is nice.  The Fiber One Raisin Bran is nice (it's the only variety I've had).

I say find a cereal that has good taste and a decent amount of fiber.

I always eat about twice the nutrition label serving size and I usually put sliced fruit (strawberries or bananas) and always with a cup of milk (combined).

My good cereal list:

Cheerios, multi-grain cheerios, raisin bran, total/wheaties, mini wheats (plain or original frosted), all bran strawberry, fiber one, kashi, wheat chex, crispix

kashi go lean

Multi-grain Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, Fiber One, Raisin Bran, Special K, Basic 4, Total, Wheaties...

...Cocoa Crunchies :)

Wait! Hmmmm... ;)

haha samantha!

another kashi go lean fan... I eat mine in yogurt with some fiber 1.
