I saw a new place in Cypress called Brown Rice that claimed to serve "healthy" Chinese food.  Now, I have been avoiding Chinese because it isn't too healthy, so I thought I would try it.  Their menu says that they use no MSG, limit salt, and use only fresh, locally grown vegetables.  Sounded like a good start.

Their menu included the usual Chinese stuff including a bunch of fried stuff that I don't think was all that healthy, but I tried a vegetarian dish (something that I have NEVER done before).  Dried tofu and green beans.  The green beans were, literally, green beans.  They almost looked like peas, but unlike peas, they were really good.  The tofu was super thin and it was in a delicate sauce.  I think it really was pretty healthy and it tasted great!!  Maybe I can eat Chinese again.

That healthy Chinese sounds pretty good! My roomate works in Cypress so I'm going to tell her to check it out. We're always looking for new and healthy(er) places to grub :) thanks for the heads up!
