Healthy dark chocolate crumbles
These are so yummy, use whatever dried fruit and nuts you like, these are just my favorites. I also have 85% cocoa chocolate, again that's my preference, I recommend anything greater then 70% cocoa. They're always a hit at parties, or bag a couple with a bit of ribbon for a gift. (I make a big batch for my future in-laws every Christmas)
Ingredients
300g 85% cocoa dark chocolate
1/2 cup dried cranberries chopped
1/2 cup dried cherries chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Cooking
In a double boiler melt chocolate down until smooth and velvety.
Remove from heat, Fold in other ingredients.
On a baking sheet lined with wax paper, scoop out mixture into tablespoon size morsels.
Place directly into fridge for about 15-20 minutes or until firm.
