Is this healthy?

Quote  |  Reply
I eat  a breakfast that usually consists of a yogurt with fruit  (either a peach, fig, or plum), then maybe a fruit before lunch, then have a lunch usually made up of fruit and a sandwich, another fruit as a snack before dinner,  then i have a normal dinner.

Is this healthy or should i be eating more?

You should probably incorperate more protien and carbs and veggies and fats into your day. Eating only fruit isnt healthy.

For dinner i usually have 2 side-dishes of veggies, a normal side-dish (whether mashed patatotoes, rice, ect) along with the main part which varies, but is usually chicken, steak, noodles, spagetti, basically what everybody eats.
Give up the pork if you're having any, and try the seafood instead, it's rich in protein.

Don't give up the pork, it's tasty.

well after seeing that you are 13 or 14 years old, you are not eating enough.

here are some resources that will help educate you about diet and nutrition for teens:

Hope you take time to read them and find out how many calories your body needs. By all means eat fruit, i just hope you are eating enough for your body to run.

If you have any questions, by all means continue to ask :)

meat is not healthy nice try though!
meat is healthy. you need protein. if someone is not opposed to eating meat, then its nothing you need to take out of your diet. if you are opposed and would rather receive your protein from lentils and soy, by all means that's fine too. but to say that meat is not healthy is miss leading and untrue.
Meat is perfectly healthy and pork is one of the leanest.  There is nothing wrong with eating meat so long as you have a balanced diet, ie meat is not the cornerstone of your diet.
cheers to that marneedear
