Fatfree creamy salad dressings.
Love bleu chese, like ranch and surprizing since I couldnt stomach 'the taste' before.  Still dont do clear like italian, reg or diet.

Apples.
They were diet food that on a diet, I still didnt want.  I did not appreciate how sweet they are!

Eggs whites.
While I wont be making an egg white omelette anytime soon adding an extra whites to 2reg scrambled at first tasted too much like eggwhites but I like it that way.

Beans.
Turns out they dont need brown sugar - theyre just good.

I can't think of anything. I mostly muscle through a lot of the food that is considered healthy and/or low cal. If I have to say... um... I'd say vegetable soup or maybe salads. Meh.

Tofu! My sister had a flirtation with veganism years ago, back when I was in high school and cooked for the family. After much resistance, I developed a love for tofu. I try not to eat it more than a couple times a week (processed food, too much soy, etc) but I do love it now.

Whole wheat pasta is another good one. I didn't like the idea of switching, but now I prefer it to regular pasta. It has a better texture and more flavor.

Avocado - I forgot!  I used to put just a little in much sourcream, then more and more til I came to love the taste of it (especially sliced thin on a turkey or chicken sandwich).
Popcorn.  I used to hate the stuff, but with pepper and parmesan cheese, it's pretty good to munch on.
  • Tofu
  • Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • Plain yougurt
  • Broccoli; and most other veggies
  • Egg whites
  • Bran muffins
  • Beans of all sorts
  • Oatmeal
Tofu- Plain, baked, sauted, marinated, mashed, diced, etcetera..

Oatmeal- Rolled, but not instant or quick oats. So hearty and delicious in the morning. Soymilk or nuts for protein, fruit or pumpkin for the antioxidants.

Celery- I can't even remember trying celery before I started considering my weight. I totally love it.

Broccoli and cauliflower- My two most favoured vegetables in the world!

Hummus- Savoury and delicious, healthy and low fat... yum.
I'd have to say vegetables, I used to eat them last on my plate and avoid them altogether whenever possible but now I eat them at least once a day (dinner), usually twice (lunch and dinner)...and I have grown to appreciate almost all of them.

Hummus - such a delicious flavor and lowfat, good protein.

Flat Out Wraps - They taste really good among all their other qualities

Egg Whites - I like to make one whole egg and two egg white scrambles and they taste good, don't miss the yolk

Turkey Meatballs - Foster Farms makes a goody.

Sweet Potatoes - really yummy.  I never used to eat them before.  I was like "Meh, sweet potatoes" but now I savor their texture and flavor.

Captain Morgan - well its ONLY 64 calories a shot!!!!!

I like mykanosdelight's list of low cal foods! She shnitzel's friend now!

Tofu should be spelled t-o-f-eeeyu! I no lika da tofu... bleh! But that's just me. :)

I like my yolks... cuz at least I think my yolks are funny even if nobody else does.

In addition to veggie soups and salads that I previously mentioned, I'd like to add cabbage. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

I have to agree with mykanosdelight, the Captain is also my friend.

Broccoli, Laughing Cow light cheese and Egg Beaters are my new low cal foods.

Thomas light multi grain english muffins are my favorite though.

Mykanos, lonestar45, and shnitzel raise right knee in unison....

I have discovered a love affair with high fiber foods. I really like lentils in a vegetable and chicken flavored soup. Barley is a great trade for white rice and even mash potatos. I have incorporated whole wheat pasta, whole wheat bagels (be carefull which ones you get though) low carb, whole wheat wraps filled with tuna cucumber, celery, chives, ricotta and garlic, now that is an amazing healthy lunch snack...umm...is it lunch time yet? red peppers grilled with onons, garlic, and zucchini. So much good stuff out there I have almost given up on eating meat except occasionally I eat a chicken breast. Meat eating is due to a lack of food knowledge, When I couldn't think of a healthy quick satisfying meal I would throw some meat in a pan, now I know how to cook legumes, veggies, seafood, etc. to make a satisfying amazing meal in no time. I liked alot of the comments made in this thread.

Musselmans lite Blueberry pomegranate fruit n sauce, mmmmmmm

Clemintines

Hard boiled eggs

Hummus, with celery

Progresso Light soups (120 cal per can!)

Dannon lite yogurt

Apples, and ANY raw vegies

salad spritz (brand?)

rum is up there for me too, but not spiced *makes face*

I forgot Hunts SF pudding cups.  I initially bought it to mix in pumpkin and didnt take to the taste on its own although with pumpkin, splenda and pumpkin pie spice it was great.

Before getting more pumpkin, I found myself liking it solo too.  Ive since tried the chocolate and butterscotch.  The butterscotch at first seemed to have a aftertaste but then it didnt.  Im assuming its an adjustment.

I can remember prior diet days accidently getting sugar free and though I tried, couldnt eat it.  Now I eat it and its funny to think what a problem I'd had.
Sushi.....A year ago I was totally against every trying it.  Now I am addicted!

Veggie burgers, ginger, berries, most vegetables, protein bars, protein powder, splenda, oranges...

I basically never ate anything healthy and now I love it all! lol.

all fruit

peppers cut up

egg whites

100 calorie packs

sugar free popsicles

lean cuisines/smartones

Oat bran with Splenda... sometimes I put a spoonful of smooth peanut butter in for protein - the fat in it is healthy and it makes it extra creamy.

The oat bran is only about 60 cal a serving - how could you go wrong?

So good fat free milk - packed with nutrients and stress beating B12 - it gives me a sense of well being - no kidding. Only 100 cal a glass. I am lactose intolerant though.

PC fibre first. I'll snack on a .25 cup of it with a small meal for only 25 cal and a punch of filling fiber and nutrients (instead of bread) works like a charm  (drink enough water!)

anything low GI - that diet is the best in my opinion!~ :)
