Grapes, bran bunds, carrots, pea pods, popcorn, yogurt. I am a HUGE snacker and snack all day long. Popcorn is great if you need something salty. Make sure you get the low calorie kind.
PEA PODS!!!! I hadn't thought of that.. see this is why I ask..
I have 100 calorie bags of popcorn, but my microwave blew up today!
It caught fire and everything!

If you like cucumbers, I recommend the little ones that are intended for pickling. There's no prep (I'm a lazy bum and I hate to dirty knives and plates) and they're a convenient size, and negligible calories. If you need some zing you could add low cal ranch or salt.
I totally agree with lk1234; I get bags of pre-cleaned sugar snap pea pods in the produce section and they're so delicious! In addition to those, I also like:
* a cup of low-cal soup with fibersure added to it. You can't taste it, it blends in completely with no lumps and you get some extra fiber for the day (I actually sprinkle it into most things that I cook - every little bit helps).
* those 100-calorie packs of whole wheat crackers (South Beach Diet brand is what I get, but whatever you like is fine)and have them with hummus or individual snack packs of salmon or tuna.
*Cherries are in season now and taste fantastic (but highly addictive).
*Apple slices wrapped in low fat turkey or dipped in chunky natural peanut butter.

Egg whites or egg white omelettes are a great 'mini meal' to refuel your brain with protein for very few calories. It also keeps you full for quite a while!
A slice or two of whole wheat toast dipped in low calorie soup - I just mix in vegetarian boullion with water (less than 10 cals for a huge bowl). This snack is really filling for less than 110 calories! (2 slices of toast and a bowl of soup)
Whatever you decide to eat, make sure you portion it or baggie it before-hand. If you just put out an entire bag of grapes on a plate, they'll be gone by the end of your study session. Good luck!

There are some yummy whole wheat pretzel options on the market now. Soups can be really really filling for almost no calories. Also, if you portion out your snacks into baggies and only take one baggie with you a day, you won't binge!
I also stick a piece of gum in my mouth, or a candy that you have to suck... that ends up getting my mouth occupied with something other than lots of snacks. Also I drink lots of hot tea... if you have a trader joe's near you they have a delicious jade oolong tea, and for some reason hot beverages tend to fill me up more than cold!

When you can't easily take along veggies, a Cliff bar is really delicious and healthy. Now it's not a low calorie item (250), but it is made with organic ingredients, is low in saturated fat (1.5g), has 12g protein, and 5g fiber.
A 1 cup baggie of cereal maybe? I love Special K with Berries for a snack..... Assuming you need to be able to finger food it? Ummm, veggies of course, edamame is esp good..... Cut up apples
Good luck with studying! ( :

What great suggestions! I am bagging frosted mini wheats now and later I am buying sugar snap peas and edamame! yum!!!
I'm a huge fan of baby carrots... but those can be loud :)
Carrots, celery, cucumbers, mushrooms, fat free cottage cheese with whatever topping you prefer, Blue Bunny Healthy Smart Fudge Lites (35 calories and 3 grams of fiber!), gum, popcorn, grapes, cherries, cereal, etc. Oh! And soy crips.
I've never tried soy crisps--really yummy? Chip-ish?
I am a convert to soy milk and other changes--always looking for more yummy choices....I discovered 65ish calorie for 8 mini-ricecakes in cheese or caramel for cheap at my Aldi's---delish!
I didn't think about dessert---sugar free jello pudding (60 calories!) or Edy's sugar free fruity popsicles (30) I make a 20ish calorie cheesecake "cupcake size" too..... I'm making myself feel snack-ish, lol

Olivia... 20is calorie cheese cake?!! recipie?!!!! please.. PAAAALLLEEEEZZZEEEEE!!!!!
I'm constantly snacking! Being a student myself, I understand that feeling where you're brain's feeling full, but your stomach is empty. I keep my water bottle with me at all times, so I sip at that between every Chapter, section, workbook page, etc(!) to make sure I'm drinking enough and I also keep berries with me. They're berfect for the little pop-in-your-mouth snack you always crave when home-working! If you're taking a break for a few minutes, (I just discovered minutes ago!!!) a rice cake with a banana mushed on top is absolutely amazing! And filling!
Ok so here is what I got.
sugar snap peas
mango (I already sliced it)
Black berries
Rasberries
watermelon
edamame
sunflower seeds
ice cream
OK I know that last one is not good, but it is low fat and if I am good all day I am allowing myself some! I mean dang I was up until 3AM and got back up at 8am!!!

Broccoli and cucumbers are a great snack, so are plums. They fill me up ;)
