heart rate monitor suggestions

Quote  |  Reply

Does anyone have experience with the heart rate monitor watches?  I want to get one that does the heart rate, distance, and calorie counter.  Any suggestions?!?

My husband got me an Acti-trainer. Its awesome. You need a subscription to use all the software, but you don't need it to count steps or calories. It has different modes too. It comes in 4 colors too..mines pink :)
Polar M32. I've got one and it does all that stuff. I like it!

i just got the numetrix sports bra with a polar transmitter/F6 watch.

logs cals/time spent exercising/weekly exercise goals/max HR, avg HR/whether you performed a light/mod/heavy workout...it's pretty cool!

i got the polar F6 for christmas and i love it!!!

My Polar s625x is on the way!  :D  It's pricey, but it's awesome from what I read.  I currently have the Polar s720i which is good, but it's geared towards bike riders (at one point I thought I could be a gear head, but I'm not).  The s625x can work with a bike accessory to be a bike computer too which is nice since I've already got that from my s720i.

Anyhow, if you've got the money and are more of a runner, the s625x is probably top of the line.  If you're more of a biker, you may like the s725x more.

hope that helps.

I have used my polar F11 for 3 years now and love it.  It doesn't do distance but I don't run / walk or much stuff like that.

I guess decide what your budget is and what features are necessary - the polar website is great to do side by side comparisons.
