HeellllOOOO! Where are the men?!

Quote  |  Reply
Sorry...

Actually, I'm a married man and I just joined the site, because the calculator, weight log, and other features are pretty cool.

However, in the forums, I feel like the invisible man who stumbled into the women's restroom (eg. talking about menstruation, where to get shoes, etc).

Please don't get me wrong...I'm not saying don't talk about it. I was just wondering if there is a section or website anyone knows of that is more mixed gender...you know...where people talk about losing weight without describing their menstrual cycle.

Wait a minute...there is another invisible guy in this restroom? Holy crap!
hahaha thats true, it is mostly women.

Sooo lets talk football, shall we? ;-) jk
maybe we could talk about what to eat at the ball game.  Aeromancer, I am impressed with your progress.  Well done.
There are more of us than you think.  But yea maybe we need our own forum geared towards sports and the weather.
Well my husband is on here, Undream. Message him if you want to talk to a guy :D
What to eat at the ball game...DON'T eat at the ball game is what I say. Eat before, after, whatever you can do. Its near impossible to find something decent there.
I just joined today... and im pretty sure im a guy, but yes after my first post and reading these forums i thought i was posting in a womens section untill i noticed this post ^_^
Shhhh...the lot of you.  They don't know we're here.  They don't know of the secret plan...
All of you should go post in my "Im new i need advice" subject in this sub category... i ee topics that have been up for 10 mins with 8 replys and mine has been up for like 20 with only my reply hehe.
Im a man also... but i dont mind the majority of women. Just because we are men, doesnt mean we shouldnt learn about women issues....

Learning about things you arent exposed to often is a GOOD thing. In many many ways, that type of information can be used during your life (and give you a better understanding of people outside your own experiences).
You guys are hilarious....

NO MORE HIDING! YOUR SECRETS HAVE BEEN REVEALED!
There's enough of us here to take over this joint.
I'm 17, too young to learn about menstrual problems.

but heck, i still peek in every once in a while. ;x
Well, I am highly interested in the issues of men...so go ahead, spill it!
I'm 18. The menstrual topics don't bother me because I don't look at them. Women can talk about anything they want. It's a forum and they have questions. Theres nothing wrong with that.
Who let Cathy in, anyhow?

It bugs me a little when women say that their cravings are stronger than men's, and then claim that we can't know what they're going through, when, of course, they're already assuming that they know men's experiences to make the initial assertion.

Check out this thread:

I think the conclusion was that no one knows what anyone else is feeling in reality.
LOL I am sorry, I didnt realize you guys were all men. Now I feel like I just walked into the men's bathroom.

Ok, I'm outta here! (but I'll be reading)

bye
Also a male, been here about 2 months and lost 20 Lbs... but have hit that dreaded stall spot everybody seems to hit (almost 3 weeks  ugh!). I myself kinda enjoy reading the womens "female" threads... I think i have learned more in 2 months then i did the the 10 years i was with my girlfriend.
Its funny how I'm a girl and I was thinking the same things... "Why is there no guys here? Maybe its all the PMS posts that scare them off". Some of them make me cringe too. its like talking to my mother... *shudder*
...
Off topic but I've also noticed that since its comming closer to summer theres lots of 16+year olds comming on being all "Oh em gee, I am so fat. I'm 110 and I have flab. Halp me. I have a bikini I need to git in." and everyone is trying their hardest to be sympathetic and tell them the right things ("use the tools, excersize, tone up, you dont need to lose weight. "Insead they are thinking - "Your Just a Kid! You shouldnt be falling in to the MTV/Hollywood veil that covers so many peoples eyes! There is an age requirement isnt there? Geeze.") It saddens me.
...
Aaanyways, back on topic. Yeah, I've heard of some people getting insane cravings. I found out that I was just usuing it as an excuse to binge. So instead of the 3 beers I want, I have 1. Or 4 pieces of pizza, I slowly eat 2. I think its just your body is screaming for weird nutrients that your mind goes AWAL, hence the cravings. But then again I aint no scientist, and this aint no article. This is just my own opinion.
