I've just started with the calorie count site in desperation to loose about 10 lbs by June... for my wedding reception! So far I love it! My calorite limit is 1340 calories a day and I should be reaching my goal by June 6, 2009. I work out about 5 times a week, basic gym cardio, some yoga and am soon to start pilates classes:)
I'm really hoping this site will help me reach my goal!

You and I are in the same boat it seems. My limit is 1370 a day, and I intend to lose (I hope) 13lbs by June - Just in time for summer.
I've been a member on here for a while now. I'd joined about 2 years ago and lost weight with its help (7lbs) back then. I'm 29 now and 12 stone, wanting to be 11! Am picking up my exercise levels, staying away from tempting treats, and cutting out fattening wine, in place of a G&T!
I'm joining the forums for a little extra support. I wish you luck!!!
As we have similar goals, perhaps we can keep in touch. Its always good to have a partner with the same aspirations! Hopefully we can both achieve our end game :)

I'm so happy you contacted me... I'm starting to loose motivation already :( I have with great difficulty lost 1lb in almost about 3 weeks...that is after gaining a few pounds. I'm very frustrated! I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but you think I would at least notice my clothes fitting a bit looser. Anyhow, enough negative! I'm about 127 lbs at the moment, and my goal is 114 lbs by June. It is a bit on the low side but I figure it's better to give myself a bit of lee-way:) I find staying away from the desserts is the hardest part, but so far I've been doing ok:) Is there anything happening in June that you made it your target date? I'm also guessing your from the UK? :)

Sorry for the late reply, hope you haven't given up hope entirely. I have lost a lb in a week, on a 1340 a day diet that I am using this thing to stick to. I was naughty at the weekend (family party and mothers day over here meant too much chocolate) so I anticipate that I will gain that lb back. Still I've started today afresh with my weight loss in mind. Off home to do Tae Bo tonight, then break tomorrow before big work out on Wednesday. Went last week and really enjoyed myself, but it admitedly took me 4 days to recover and I am yet to get back to kicking and punching the air!!! But I am on the go, signing up for bellydancing classes on Wednesday and buying a new bike at the end of April to start my 14 mile daily cycle to work and back. Ha ha... I must be mad, but you know, I am totally looking forward to it!
June is purely my target weight because summer should be here for us by then, and I really want my wardrobe to be available to me. Right now everything is simply too small and I have so many clothes!!! I also just want to start looking after myself and kicking off for then sounds good, with my first wedding anniversary being in July.
You should do fine, you're getting married right? I tell you two weeks before my wedding I got so ill from stress that the final bit of weight i wanted gone went just from that!!! I felt great on my wedding day, I wasn't at my target, but in a way I am glad of it... I would have maybe looked too thin in the dress I wore... it was a dress intended for big curves as it was a corseted little number!
