Just a little intro about yourself for all of the newbies or the people like me who are just coming back after a break.

My name is Kalajean and I am coming back after a couple of months break and about a 3 pound weight gain!  I weighed in today at 171 and I hope to get down to about 130.

Hello!  I just getting started myself, weighing in at 256, and hoping to at least break the mendoza line (or get close) by the time I graduate college.
Hey!  I'm Nikki and I am aiming to lose about 20 lbs. before the Spring.  Nothing too drastic, but it'd make me happier.  :)
Hello there!  I'm Rachell....weighing in at 144 lbs (before drinking any water...haha) and am hoping to loose 20 lbs.  Sounds like a lot, but I'm only 5 foot nothing....it's a way to go yet :)
Hi, I have been erratic with my visits here, but hope if I am consistent with this and my exercise and eating plan I will see some progress. I have been trying to loose the last 15-20 pounds FOREVER....well, it sure seems that way. I flux between 157 and 164 - and I am 5'3".  Now as I am getting older, all the weight is grouping in my stomach - eeewwwuuuh.

Well, here's to us!
Hi! I've been on for a few months but I'm new to the forums. I started at 260lb and am down to 223. I've never stuck to any fitness or eating plan until now, so I have to say I am proud of myself. I still have 60+ pounds to go and I think that interacting with the rest of cc's members is the way to go. So far everyone's post's have been motivating and I hope that I can motivate people in return.
Hi I am new here.

I got serious about losing weight about 2 months ago.  I've lost about 23 lbs on a VLCD and am now switching gears to try it on my own with regular food.  A little nervouse and a little scared.

I am 5'9 and am 240 now.  My goal is to loose 40lbs by the end/middle of April.  I'll see how I feel then and if I want to loose the other 25 lbs to get me to a "healthy" weight by society's standards.

I'm enjoying being here.
haha I've been here since May but am completely starting over. I want to lose 50 lbs. by June when I am supposed to be leaving for the Peace Corps.
*points to self* who me? OK yeah, I'm new here.

I'm Ray (Rachael). I just joined less than a week ago. I've been trying to lose weight hardcore  for about 10 months. I've lost 45lbs and have taken up jogging. I eat real food (as whole as possible), exercise 6 days a week.

I'm 6ft and 287lb (started out at 335). My goal weight is 165-175. I would really like a few friends to share the chubby angst with.
I'm Juan (bossman; high school nickname)

I just started to focus on taking control of my weight.  I started at 273 and today I'm at 261.5  my goal is 200.  I have tried different diets.

Atkins: Lost 20 lbs. gained the back plus more. and did not feel healthy.

Body for life: loved the program hated the suppplements. expensive and I don't like the idea of getting most of my meals in a pill or powder form. I did lose 15 lbs. and felt great.

among others

I have been hesitant about starting a new diet. I have been successfull at most of them. but then I gain the weight back plus more.  I found this web site and love the program. I just need to keep at it.

Good luck to all
Hi, my name's Brynne ("Brin"), and I discovered this site yesterday after making a firm decision to get serious about losing this weight. I am now 210 lbs. at 5'4". I've taken up power walking for 30 minutes each morning, and this site's features (awesome!) combined with the excercise has me really excited. Keeping track of food and excercise like this is going to be so helpful to me. I had a serious car accident in 2003 that kept me in the hospital for a month and then in bed at home for a full year. I got very good at being sedentary, that's for sure! Even after I was able to walk again, I let laziness take over. Now I've really had enough and I'm determined to shed these pounds. Only 80 to go, according to this site! I look forward to meeting some new friends here; I always used to try to "go it alone", thinking that if I succeeded, great, people would notice, but if I failed, nobody would know the difference. This time I've got my family's support and I look forward to yours, too! Good luck everyone; hope you're all doing well.
just wanted to say "hi!" and "welcome!" to all the fine people who posted here.  i know you're going to enjoy this website a LOT!!!!
im new! i joined a little bit ago, real my profile i think that has a lot of info there.
hey!

i joined thursday, a week ago. i'm 15 years old, almost 16, and weigh 144 lbs and i need to lose 28 lbs i think. i want to lose it by february. apparently that's a little too soon, but hey, i'll try. unfortunately, because of the tons of work i get in school, i only sleep about 3 hours per night and don't have any time at all to workout.
Hi!!! I'm currenty at 174 pounds and am 7 months pregnant with only 10 weeks to go! so I am not trying to loose weight but just maintain my healthy eating habits. and this sight is great for that!
Hello all! I started about two weeks ago. This is my second week on the calorie plan. I'm currently at 141lbs and i want to get down to about 110. I started out at 146lbs so i have already lost 5lbs and feel so much better. I love this sight. It has really help me so much.
Starting over again after a 5 month lapse.  Trying to shed a fourth-grader's worth of weight or so... Hey, up there, Ray (Rachael)...nice to see another tall girl on here!  I'm 6'2" and 275lbs.

I'm new! I am looking to drop 21 pounds by late Spring! I lost 10 pounds from last December to my wedding in July and then gained it back in one month. I have been feeling disappointed in myself to have lost the weight and then gaining it back so fast. I hope this site will help me keep a close eye on my intake and activity level.
